I'm HaruMei, and I've been playing pokemon ever since I was a little bitty person. Between my little brother and I, I think we've managed to purchase every non-spin-off game (except yellow and silver) and most of the spin-offs (we tend to purchase opposite versions). I have an abiding love of being terribly silly and doing things that shouldn't make sense or work (see: the Abra I used through the whole game and beat the game with in HGSS, which I never evolved because I love abra's sprite, and am far less fond of the later evolutionary sprites, the crazy-fast and powerful Plusle I had on pokemon sapphire, [No, my brother doesn't know how that worked either], etc.) which is best expressed in the last rule I use when I do a nuzlocke: Any rule may be broken in order to do something absolutely ridiculous. Times this rule has been invoked include the time that my first encounter on route 113 in Emerald was a skarmory, but I decided to catch and use a spinda instead because I liked spinda, and I'd never used one before.
Anyway, I'm kind of ridiculous, quite flighty, and as curious as the proverbial cat. I'm a trifle old-fashioned and use unusual expletives ("Gracious!"), and in general act like a proper lady from a bygone age crossed with a hyperactive four-year-old. I also tend to overthink things a LOT and once spent several hours going through pictures of women curtsying in an attempt to answer the question of whether it is possible to curtsy in a kimono. (answer: yes, it is possible)
