I was looking through a couple of sites trying to find a couple of things

Step 1: First you need to have beaten all 8 gym leaders. Then you need any 2 pokemon level 30 with 4 empty spaces. Make sure that one knows fly.

Step 2: Fly to every city in the order that you got the badges. When you fly to the cities heal your 2 pokemon on every pokemon center.

Step 3: Go to the 7th island and catch an unknown and keep it with you. Next, leave the Sevi islands, and go talk to your mom. When she heals your pokemon, talk to professor oak. He will check you pokedex.

The last step: Save the game and shut it off. After you've turned it back on, go to the nearest Pokemon Center and take out 4 pokemon. There's a specific list you have to have. When you press start to view your pokemon, you should have the level 30 flying pokemon first, the other level 30 second, a level 45 bug type third, a level 50 electric type fourth, and two others as your choice.
Now, go defeat the elite 4 using these 6. After you defeat them, instead of professor oak taking you to the hall of fame, you go straight to island 9 where you have to catch deoxys in order to battle him for all 386 level 100 pokemon. But be warned, once on island 9 you can't save. So save before the battle with your rival!

I saw this and freaked, this is fake, correct?

Also, I have heard that if you beat the E4 200 times, you become a gym leader and get to have gym battles using only 5 pokemon.

I assume this is bogus, just checking here if anyone else can confirm this.
 
You can't go to Island 7 without having already beat the E4 once.
 
OMG! I heardz that if yu beat Gary 10000 timez, yu an misty get to d0 itz! LOlz!
 
Place your FireRed/LeafGreen game into your Gameboy Advance/SP/Micro/DS/DS lite, head outside. Look for road, stand in middle of road. Be crushed by oncoming traffic in a brutal manner.

This will give you a level 5 Mew in the sixth slot on your party. But only if you manage to turn off the Gameboy Advance/SP/Micro/DS/DS lite while saving before it says "the game was saved!".
 
Actually, though, there is something to be said about abusing game systems to get cool stuff.

A friend of mine had a really lucky freak accident - she dropped her GBC down a large flight of stairs when getting into a random encounter in Gold. When she picked up her game again, she had run into a shiny Celebi. I can testify as a witness of this happening.

Of course, it screwed up her game in other ways, most notably making it so she couldn't trade. And the stunt can't be replicated - an online friend of mine had his little brother try enough times that we can say for certain it'll never happen again.

But hey - that was for Gold. With any luck, someone will be desperate enough for a random encounter with a very rare, shiny Pokémon that they'll drop their GBA down a large flight of stairs over and over again. =)

As a computer engineer in training, I can tell you that the odds of a random drop placing the terminals in such a way that you can get a Shiny Celebi to show up is something like 1:1,000,000,000 >.>

I remember trying a lot of junk on R/B/Y. Those games were great. 'The truck can be pushed with Strength...Missing0 will give you unlimited Rare Candies (which it did, if you had the rare candies in the sixth spot in your bag :D )...etc., etc., etc...'.

Good times, good times...

I got a bootleg copy of firered on ebay.It doesnt save and the cartridge was black instead of red. The guy was from Hong Kong! Im never ordering from anyone from Hong Kong on ebay!
 
You do realize that Hong Kong is the unspoken Pirate capital of the world, merchandise and all. :/ So it's safe to not trust all products that come out of there. (And I do mean only some products aren't trustworthy, that's not to say EVERYTHING from Hong Kong is bad).
 
Listening to this mess gives me a headache! You can't imagine how many fake codes I had to go through to try and find Mew (R/B). I think I need to lie down.

Well, to be fair, it wasn't just one drop, it was a large number of drops down a flight of stairs. You know, wah-bump wah-bump wah-bump wah-bump wah-bump wah-bump wah-bump wah-bump wah-bump THUD.

But yeah, it was an incredibly lucky thing that she had happen. I mean, seriously, that's once in a lifetime there.

And then her game screwed up because of it - so she couldn't trade and stuff. After seeing she had this problem, she decided to restart her game, rather than get a new copy and treasure her shiny Celebi forever and ever.

I'm still very disappointed that she did that. I mean, now the Celebi is gone, and no one's going to believe us when we share the story. =[
