On Wednesday I watch the 2010 Karate Kids movie. It was quite good. Jackie was great for the role. I don't know much and Jaden Smith, but he did okay.

There was the similarity with the original Karate Kid movie

1.Moving to a new country

2.Dre get pick on, just like Daneil did.

3.Saved by Maintenance man, Mr. Hun as Daneil was save Mr Miyage

4.Train by pick up jacket, hanging, and putting it on and off.

5.There a teacher who teach in the brutal ways.

6.Mr Hun has lost a wife and child just like Mr. Miyage.

I wound tell too much. I was hoping to see a father and son moment just the original. The fight scene very violent and intense. My mom say she almost cry when they was beating up Dre. What i say it was a distributing scene even it was is just a movie, but it do look like it hurt.

Final thoughts, I wouldn't this a remake since it had a different setting and should be call Kung fu Kid, it was call Kung Fu Dream in China. It was quite unusually that the Dre was falling in love with someone, yet he is 12 years old. It not the best movie, but capture that feel of the originally Karate Kid,so it a okay movie.

I felt it was an awesome movie in its own right
However when put as a remake of the original it wasn't actually that decent.
I felt Chan was wrong for the role, but made the best of a bad situation.
The fight scenes were awesome, but i felt that there needed to be a couple more scenes in certain places just to tie the move together some more.

& lastly the final move move was ridicolous... Both in terms of awesomeness & in being unbelievible.

As compared to the crane move? (Which would be horrible in an actual martial arts battle)

I actually preferred this version to the original, as the martial arts seemed more realistic, Chan himself stated that this was a focus of his during the making.

The original gets points for being classic, but the new one gets points for fighting and drama (although the romance did feel a little forced).

The only main hype is because he's Will Smith's darn son.
