Ida's Art

Hey! *Waves* Your friendly beta-reader coming by to see your artsy-related things. :D How is your next chapter of your fanfic going, by the way?

Hmmm...your drawings are cute and all, but they do seem to show a definite lack of knowledge on proportions... Might I suggest you pick up some books on drawing anime? Or hunt down some good tutorials. Taking an art class might help as well. No offense intended at all, but I think you need to get studying on how humans are put together. You also may want to try drawing things from life, to give yourself a base upon which to draw anime characters (who have similar proportions to real people).

I can see that you have a lot of creative *ideas* about what you draw, but you definitely, definitely need to find that base of proportion before you can do much with those ideas.

If you need further help--which I personally think you do--you can feel free to contact me, and I'd be happy to help you find some nice tutorials and books and things so you can start drawing in a more effective manner.

Your graphics are quite nice, though. The sprites are awesome. Good job on those!

Thanks. I know my proportions are awful, but I can only work with what I've got.

I'm guessing no comments for the last two. Anyway, sorry for another long pause.

A fan fic banner.

I'm beginning to wonder if Kasumi-san's the only one who bothers to look at my stuff.

Just confirming what Kasumi said...

It bothers me to make posts that are just "Nice" or "Not bad" or something short and sweet of the sort. So, I usually don't say anything at all unless I have a critique or if I am amazed and utterly adore something.

It's a compliment, actually, because while your art may not turn me into a mushy bowl of fangirl pudding, it is good enough that I can't really nitpick it. (And believe me, I can nitpick at a LOT of things.)

Others probably look, but they don't know what to say. It happens, sadly. =/

That banner is nice. Where is the background from?
I got it from here.

All right. Thanks for the heads up.
