in this game you would given a choice between the 4 (or maybe 5 at that time) regions and after getting all the badges and defeat the pokemon league in your regions you would move on to another one

You're not the first to have this idea, nor the last.

But it's unlikely to happen.

practically too big of memory to store in a game.

Someone should close this thread... It seems unfitting.

A nice way to emphasize how repetitive the game play is, is by making us play through all the existing regions at once.

Its a bad idea, people complain about Johto's level down. That was due to them having to spread over two regions, now imagine how they'd have to readjust level distribution for a five region game :/

There is no such thing as a perfect Pokemon game. Sorry to disappoint.

Box was more or less perfect, for what it was intended to be. I developed an even greater appreciation for it after using My Pokemon Ranch... the saddest excuse for a storage system I've ever seen.

I think just getting the ability to have multiple files on one game would be a huge step up for Gen V

:spin:

Could go, but then we need more levels, minimum 150 as max level. But I don't see a game were you could travel to all regions, nor do I think that will be a better game.

Oh dear god no, no more levels

I'm not sure how to define a "perfect" Pokemon game, since tons and tons of people have their own opinion about which games they like the best. At this point, I'm just really anxious about what's gonna be revealed next month concerning these games.

I'd find it amusing, at least, that those dear Lv.100 dwellers had only 1/16th of the experience needed to Lv.255 :p

But yeah, the idea in the first post is old and has been offered like, a thousand times. And I doubt it will ever happen.

To be a perfect gen, I'd like to see a dynamic storyline that is affected by the players choices (e.g, you loose against the villain team, causing the plot to change). What would REALLY make this better would be the integration of events much like the Giovanni one in HGSS, but where the decision made in this event opens up new quests, basically giving us players something to wait and keep playing for.

...although this probably won't happen...
