Idea: Gym Leader music

I had an interesting idea for Generation VI, or possibly Grey or Ruby/Sapphire remakes, inspired by by the slight differences in Reshiram and Zekrom's battle themes. The idea is basically that in the next pokémon game, there should be a slight difference in the instruments used in the Gym Leader battle music, based on the type that Gym Leader uses. A Normal Gym Leader would just get the basic Gym Leader battle music for that generation, and each of the other sixteen types would get a single instrument added to it. Just to give some examples of what might be used for each type:
Rock: Extra percussion, I guess
Water: Maybe a harp or a flute?
Electric: Electric guitar
Grass: A think some kind of flute would fit best
Poison: Maybe an acoustic guitar
Psychic: Organ or accordion
Fire: Trumpet
Ground: Not sure. Maybe just have the music echo a bit so it sounds like your in a cave
Flying: Not sure
Bug: Not sure, maybe some sort of flute
Dark: Contrabass
Ghost: I think an Organ would fit best
Fighting: Percussion
Steel: Again, some kind of percussion, probably a metallic sounding instrument
Ice: Piano or violin
Dragon: Hmm... Tricky. Maybe all of the above together?

What do you think of this idea?

I think this would be a very good idea.

Maybe they might put something like this in future games.

Yeah, I had thought about each gym leader having his or her own mix of the gym leader music! I always imagined it as a character-based mix, but I think an element based mix would work better.

I think Bug would work with an electric violin, since it kinda sounds like a buzz...

Steel could work with a xylophone.

Dragon would sound really weird having all 15 sounds...
I think a foreboding, ominous piano type sound would work.

Dragon should have some chanting, sort of like when you battle Ghetsis, but not as much.

Poison should have some kind of eerie techno added to it. Of course, the only two Poison gym leaders are Ninja based, so maybe Japanese instruments? Shamisen, flutes, taiko drums.

Dragon should have a royal kind of music added. Since it is usually the last Gym leaders, so something climactic.

Ice should have that isolated feel to it, like most Ice ares in videos games tend to have. Maybe just a winter theme added.

Steel could have a factory or trash theme.

Everything else seems fine, I suppose.

I'd also go for the exact gym leader in general, such as the fisrt being super happy up to the last one slowly and slowly getting more serious because "this is it, you're in the big leagues now"

Steel type should have a track similar to "Nuts and Bolts" from Donkey Kong Country 3.

Ground could be a timpani roll, it sounds like an earthquake
Flying could be an orchestra of people blowing through their instruments but not playing.
Bug would be a piccolo
Dragon...maybe a xylophone?

This sounds like a good idea except it should be specific for every leader. For example, Elesa should have Bad Romance or Poker Face XD

Agree. It would be better if the differences were about the specific leader's personality, interest, or occupation rather than type affiliation.
