Spoilers Ideas and Hopes for Generation X Starter Pokémon

Anybody have any gut feelings about what sort of critters we might get to see as our new Starter Pokémon? Anybody have anything they’re really hoping for?

I’m including the Spoilers prefix because I feel like the alleged leaks and rumors about the nature of what Generation X is going to be like will probably factor into some people’s ideas and feelings about this.

Personally? I know it’s SUCH a longshot and I don’t feel it’s likely to happen EVER, but I would really, really love to see us get an ObjectMon as a starter…. I think we can handle it. I think it’s time we got something really strange and quirky!

Otherwise, I just kinda hope they make one of them a strange, nondescript creature like Chikorita or Bulbasaur again someday.

My brain still really wants Gen X to be based on California... I think a Starter based on a Bear would be really cute. (Maybe bring back Honoguma from Spaceworld 97??)

As an objectmon defender, absolutely!! Honestly would love to see a Pokemon based on a rain umbrella (similar to the Kase-Obake, but not quite.) and a water-type starter would be a perfect pilot for that concept!!
