Who would you say and why?

I'd go with Quilava(take note I just assume Quilava is male) cause he's been absent for so long(but still pokemon like Bayleaf and Totodile have been as well...) and his evolution has taken the most time out of every pokemon in the series: 507 episodes and about 10 years(and Cyndaquil should've evolved after he defeated Jasmine's Steelix). I just feel like his evolution, and his disappointing 30 second match with Armaldo just isn't enough(and he needs redemption). Plus I want to know how much he's changed really, whether or not he's still lazy and if he's still kind of a coward or not.
 
The only one that is possible is Gible, and even then I don't think he would take it.

There's absolutely no reason to expect any older Pokemon in Isshu. Especially not the Johto starters, HGSS advertising is over.
 
This will just turn into a homer thread for people who want their favourite to go.

I'd enjoy seeing Gible tag along, kind of like how Aipom did for Sinnoh.
 
Gible is the only one I could see coming along, and I'd like to see that.
 
The only pokemon that would really work are the pokemon that still have developpement to go through. Enough developpement to justify them sticking around for an entire or part of a new saga. Say like Phanphy during the BF

Gible seems to be the liklier suspect. Totodile and Quilava might also qualify but their starter status and regional attachment sort of axes that.

I'd say someone that might have a evolution in the region like Aipom did. But I can't really say he'll bring anyone...maybe a starter but that's about it.
 
Gible. He hasn't traveled with Ash for very long, and now he's being Oaked. If not Gible, then Totodile would be the choice. It never got any gym victories, and it's about time for it to evolve.
 
The only pokemon I see Ash bringing along with him is Gible. I also have the feeling that since Gible's only been with Ash for a short period of time that Ash might trade him or release him rather than staying with Professor Oak. I don't know, it's just a bad gut feeling for me :/

Ash should bring Totodile or Gible. Or both :rolleyes: They would become a big disaster.
 
I could see Ash bringing Gible, its the only Pokemon that hasn't been with him that long. That or Buziel, neither of them have evolved yet. I'd like Ash to have a fully evolved water Pokemon.
 
Why would the writers advertise last-gen Pokemon in a new region?

It makes absolutely zero sense for Johto starters to be in the BW arc. Gible is only possible if it has a branched evo.
 
I honestly don't see Gible returning for Ishuu since a big part of it's gimmick is it's interactions with Piplup... Which won't be there.

There's also Iris's Kibago.

Kibago and Gible can be the new pokemon couple-- Kind of like Pikachu and Buneary. I'm going to miss the cute interactions between the two.
 
Gible does need the most work, though most likely won't happen; at least it got a league battle to play in. If the BW games are all about the fresh experience, moreso than even RS, then we shouldn't see many Pokemon making the migration. Nope, it'll just be Pikachu and TR's Pokes.
 
At this point, the only reason anything has to go to the new region is if it has a new evo, which we don't know for any of them if they do. As for Gible, I'm sorry, but it's purpose has been fulfilled. Lovable character or not, it is done for now. Nothing short of some greater significance to the new generation will make me change my mind.
 
If it just a "for fun" topic, not being serious, I'd like to see Sceptile, Muk, or Glalie accompany Ash to a new region.
 
I don't believe that Ash will bring any Pokemon to Isshu.

But if he did, I would think that he'd bring Gible. It has the least training of his Sinnoh Pokemon and has yet to evolve. The Conway battle would've been the perfect time, but they decided not to do so.

Basically it would be Aipom #2. It would evolve and would get put on a bus for some stupid reason... or not.
 
For the not so serious answer... I'd still pick Gible or Totodile. Cause they're cute, cuddly, hilarious and they still have room to grow, evolve and become awesome...

Though, they're going clean slate with BW, so I don't seriously see anybody brought over.
