Would you loved to see something like this?

To avoid spoilers, this is not the right place for You.
You were warned.

We are taking here only the ones realesed till now.

I will post my suggestion after some people have posted their ideas.
I only wanted to see a team full of 6 new pokemon of another region before the official game realease.
(like in the past)
Alolan forms also are allowed.

Well, if Ash were to battle an Alola trainer instead of Alain, I would easily conclude this is the result of status quo. After all, what usually draws Ash into the next region is usually finding someone who is stronger and hails from another region. That's what keeps Ash going in a safe pattern cycle of the show.

Maybe they'll have a synchro-evolution Mon that is like Ash-Greninja.

Ash would have still lost regardless of who he is going up against in Kalos league. He wasn't meant to win the league.

They're not trying to find ways in which he could have won, mate. You're missing the point of this thread.

Let's set this out here, it would have been interesting to see a Mimikyu beat Pikachu there.

The topic isn't about whether or not Ash would have won the League. It's about what Alola Pokemon he would have faced if he wasn't going to face Alain in the finals.

As for the topic at hand, I don't think that we would have seen a full team of new Pokemon. Even with Harrison back in the Johto League, he only had two third generation Pokemon. He had a Kecleon, which they had already seen in a Johto League Champions filler episode, and a Blaziken, which was the only new Pokemon Harrison had on him if I recall correctly. I doubt that they would have shown the evolved forms of the Alola starters, especially if their evolutions are connected to Rockruff, and I can't really see Alola forms being used either. Something like Alola forms would be more fitting to see debut in Alola rather than in the tail end of XY to tease Alola.

Out of the currently revealed Pokemon, Turtonator could have worked and maybe a Vikavolt if they wanted to give the trainer a second Alola Pokemon. Everything else I don't think would work or would be more fitting to debut in the Alola region proper. It does make me wonder how Ash will get the inspiration to go to Alola. Even in BW, Alexa debut with her sixth generation Pokemon to tease the new series and lead into Ash's journey to Kalos, so how they'll do that in the remaining time after Team Flare is dealt with should be interesting.

Maybe they will make the end like sinnoh and then start off like they did in BW. I can't see them bringing a new trainer to tease the new pokemon in such a short time
OT: I would have loved to see that new crab pokemon in action.

Yeah, I think that's pretty likely at this point. While I suppose that they could introduce a new character with new Pokemon after Team Flare is defeated, it's pretty late in the game to do something like that. It would just feel incredibly tacked on. Even Alexa in BW felt pretty tacked on given how little involvement she had in most of the episodes in that arc.

Seeing Crabralwer in action would have been neat, but it doesn't really come off as one of the first Alola Pokemon that they'd want to introduce in the anime. I can easily see Ash catching one at some point, so we'll probably still see it in action sooner or later.

I could see a Mudsdale being on this hypothetical trainer's team. I don't even have any reason as to why, I just think it'd be a Mudsdale. I don't see them having more than 1 new Pokemon on their team.

Although that Mimikyu - Pikachu battle DOES sound interesting.

Tough question considering we haven't seen the Starters evolution's (confirmed anyway) and we don't know the full extent of Z moves.... Not to mention there aren't too many cool reveals yet

There would be always the first time to do it, especially if a trainer comes from a region with so many new pokemon and Alolan forms. Plus this was never done before. This would be a better way to introduce a new generation then leaks. I always liked in the past that a new pokemon was realesed in the anime faster then the games. This would be the perfect way for showing new pokes, new abilities and moves. Once it could hapen becuse we have new regions somethime, even in past that more new ones were used then old ones and there could be a trainer that has only new ones from his region that he accidently uses against Ash.

Ash:
1.Pikachu,
2.Hawlucha,
3.Talonflame,
4. Noivern,
5. Goodra,
6. Greninja

Alolan Trainer:

1.Palossand (Perfect Pikachu counter, Sand Tomb+Disable against Irontail+Sandstorm+ if it would get Muddy Water then even Talonflame would have a problem)
,

2.Pyukumuku(for its ability and water typing)

3.Vikavolt (good against flying and against Greninja water/dark)

4. Turtonator (neutral to water, probably good defense and sp. defense, maybe against Talonflame)

5. Alolan Sandslash (Snowslash) (ice/steel good against dragons and flying types )

6. a 3 stage Alolan Starter probably Rowlet or Litten (Depending what could better take out Greninja). If it would be Popplio to boost it's performance then it would maybe also work?
(+it could have a Z move to show it)

Also thought about switching Bruxish for Pyukumuku for it's ability to counter quick attack ,water shuriken but it's psychic typed and thats not good against Greninja and Ash's Talonflame has not Gale Wings to test it right.

I just don't think I could have seen them introduce a full team of Alola Pokemon though. Even with Alexa, they only showcased three Kalos Pokemon. I definitely think that Alola forms would be more suited to debut in Alola, although seeing different forms of older Pokemon would be a guaranteed way to get Ash interested in traveling over there. Given how they've trying to keep the evolved forms of the starters a secret for the past few generations, I don't think that they would have shown one in the Kalos League either.

Maybe just two or three Alola pokemon at the most. Turtonator, final evolution of Rowlet and Alola Raichu possibly

Alolan Ninetales in the place of Alolan Sandslash would be also perfect to counter Ash team.
Would be perfect against Ash dragon pokemon and even neutral against Hawlucha.
Greninja or Talonflame would take it out after some short problems.

For me it wouldnt be problem to see a fully evolved starter early.
The same with 6 new pokes in battle, that would only make fans more hyped for the games.
It depends what they will do in future imagine gen 8 or a later to have something like this.
That would be nice.

For me it would be very statistically posibble after 6 generations to meet with someone from a other region with a bunch of all new pokemon.(if we take that there could be 12 generations together(becuse of the fire types zodiac motives))

I'd have liked for Alain to use an Alola Pokemon instead of Bisharp, that's thing's been featured WAY too much battling Greninja. Possible candidate could be the fully evolved form of Popplio, to have a Popplio 3 vs Greninja?

Out of all of the Alola forms revealed thus far, Raichu would be the most fitting, but I don't think they'd want Ash to lose to a Raichu without getting the chance to have a rematch with it relatively soon after.

If there was an Alolan Raichu in the league, they'd most likely want to keep its presence secret until the the battle itself, for the surprise factor. I'd like the Pikachu vs A-Raichu match to have a proper set-up before it actually happens, so having it take place in Alola itself would be better imo.

And I'd prefer that Raichu to prove that evolution means SOMETHING!!!

I'm simply sick of the writers bashing my favourite down. Get it right, game freak- it's EVOLution, not EVILution, as you think.

I'd prefer a match highlighting surge surfer, and hope that Raichu is not arrogant minded.
