If Harley and Dawn met...

What would happen?

Would they battle, should they battle?

Will they get along, will Harley despise her, or love her for beating May? Does he still hold grudges?

I can see Harley being secretly jealous of Dawn beating May and winning something as huge as the Wallace Cup.

I don't see Harley as ever being normal, or civilized at all. Then he wouldn't be Harley.

With that said, It would be nice if we not only saw Harley again, but also is May and Dawn combined rivals as well.

I respect the writers descisions, but they really should show more sensitivity to older characters.

I don't think Harley is in the habit of making too many life-long friends. Chances are, the situation upon meeting Dawn would go from Good, to Bad, to Worse, to One-way Ticket to Hell.

Since we know all about Harley's character, it probably won't have the same kind of impact that we received during the rivalry with May. While it might sound like a cool idea, it might not really catch on.

It's better that we get a similar kind of rivalry going, but with an entirely new character, or even bring back Ursula. Actually, that would probably be better.

I think what could happen, is if he hears Dawn beat May he could pretend to be her friend. Than tricks her like he did with May the first few times. I don't think Harley would like her for beating May. He'd get annoyed cuz of all the times he tried to beat May himself but didn't. Than some newbie comes in and defeats May, yah that'd be horrible for the guy. Drew would probaly mock him a bit for thatXD

He probably wouldn't act exactly the same towards her, but I guess its hard to say because we wouldn't know either way.

Sometimes I do wonder what it would be like if May and Dawn's rivals were reversed, and Drew/Harley were introduced in Sinnoh with Dawn, and Zoey/Kenny were in Hoenn with May.

Would the interactions be exactly the same just with the girls reversed? Makes you wonder.

Harley and Dawn should battle, if Dawn beat him, which I'm more than sure she can , seeing Harley start his process of attemption of domination of Little Miss Perfect #2 as he would probably think would be funny.

I can actually see Dawn fangirling over Harley, due to his contest skills.

Depending on the circumstances, I could actually see him hating her more than Haruka. After all, don't you remember how venomous she was towards Shinji? She was ready to go after him when they first met. If Harley started treating her badly and then revealed it was because of a minor issue, I have a feeling she'd just go off. "What? You're mad at me over something as stupid as that?!" and then it just wouldn't stop. Haruka at least tried to ignore him and act friendly, but Hikari has more of a temper.

Given the current circumstances though, I kind of doubt it'd work that way. Either Satoshi would warn her about him before hand (so she wouldn't tick him off) or Haruka would.
