Do you think Sony or Microsoft buy Nintendo? Vote and Speak!
 
With sales these days, I think Nintendo would have the ability to buy Sony or Microsoft, were not both companies backed by electronics conglomerates.

I really wish Nintendo would buy Rare back and buy Sega.
 
I've pondered about this myself a couple of times. End conclusion: no clue. :eek: If held at gunpoint and forced to choose, I'd probably pick Sony for the simple reason that it's based in Japan.
 
Yes, what do you mean "has"? Are they not doing well? I though they were kicking they're competitors arses!

I HATE Microsoft, so Sony is the obvious choice for me. I wish Apple,Sony, Sega, and Nintendo would work together, that would be a perfect world.
 
Nintendo will remain strong, simply because of the youth fan base. I'm not even going to answer the poll. If Microsoft/Sony wanted to buy Nintendo they could've done a long time ago. But they honestly won't. If they did, something is wrong with the world.

Google Mail
Google Desktop
Google Earth
Now they want Google Games (Nintendo)

Microsoft made their bid (actually, a second bid, since they made one in 1999 before getting into the industry themselves) for Nintendo in 2004 or so, the results were not pretty. Nintendo has made it clear hundreds of times in the past, that they will go out of business before selling themselves to anyone. So it is not a matter or Sony or Microsoft choosing not to buy Nintendo, Nintendo has never been on the market, and obviously never will be.

No company like Sony or Microsoft will buy nintendo..

But if they did ( im not saying they will) i would stop buying their products who wants to see mario or pokemon on XBOX or PS3...
 
They would probably ruin it......like Conker....they ruined it...from an E rated game to an M rated game.........

Pretty sad how you'd stop playing your favorite games because they've been put on different platforms on the hypothetical notion that Nintendo stopped making good money and went software only. I mean if you had atleast given it a chance then dismissed it because it was crap.....

On a side note, I barely like seeing pokémon on the Wii when trainer sprites are involved because their 3D graphics don't compliment the art style well (wants to see it in cell shading)

Mate i'd test them out first i wouldn't just say this is so gay that its on PS3 and leave it on the shelf..
 
I am not sure if Nintendo will be bouthg by either Sony or Microsoft, and well, I hope not. Nintendo is doing well as it is, don't think a takeover would happen.

No.

Without competition, the companies wouldn't be stressed to work as hard as they do. Competition's vital to the gaming industry, like it or not.
 
if nintendo were to fall that low they would join forces with sega it would be a cold day in hell before i see those two greedy corperations get a hold of nintendo
 
Answer the question!!

They'd create games for both consoles but, if they had to exclusivly create games for a certain platform it would almost certainly be Sony as they are a Japanese-based company similar to Nintendo.
