If Pmd 5 is a thing Should Poipole be a starter?

Hey there, Ohaxer! I’ve just moved this thread to the Pokémon Video Games section, as this topic would fit better here!
You raise an interesting question. My personal stance is that Poipole, being an Ultra Beast from a foreign dimension, would just be in a completely different class of Pokémon from the other small, cute species that have been made PMD starters in the past, so it’s not likely. It will be neat to see how the UBS are incorporated into any future Mystery Dungeon Games.

If anything I think Poipole would be a cute friend our character and our partner would meet in a story involving the other UBs. Poipole and the heroes could be the bridge that brings ultra beasts and pokemon together for the plot.
