If Pokopia gets Pokédex entries in the Game Data page…

I mean Pokopia has a few things going for it that fundamentally makes it different from most spin-offs. I'd argue its the most "main series-like" of all the spin-offs as it was uniquely developed in part by Game Freak, and also has a lot of systems adapted form the core series.

That by and of itself isn't why it was listed though, since fundamentally the section is about Pokédex data. Pokopia is the first spin-off game in the 30 years that the franchise has been around that has a unique Pokédex (not following Natdex order), the only other spin-off games with a Pokédex are Pokémon quest, which only had the first 151 but crucially for the template lacks any flavour text to include, and Pokémon GO which is kinda its own thing but again lacks any distinct numbering scheme apart from natdex.

While similar, the template is designed for Pokédex entries, it's the section title, and technically the Photodex (and similar things like the PalPad or Ranger Browser) as well are not Pokédex's, nor do the games there a part of ever refer to them by that word. Therefore it be inappropriate to include them in the existing section because we shouldn't equate things as a Pokédex unless it's actually called that. That said I do think theres room to explore how we can better integrate the flavour text from other spin-offs and consolidate it better into one view because it is both interesting and highly relevant information to the species to aggregate. An (early) attempt at this was https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/User:4iamking/Sandbox.

I should also say there will probably come a more overarching general rethink of how we untangle species pages probably coming on the horizon at some point, but its really to early to say what that might look like.
