If the specials do return, what would you like to see in them?

-Brock has met Tracey on one occasion and they barely interacted. Professor Oak has made use of Misty on numerous occasions so I suppose he could get Brock to do something as a Pokémon Breeder. Another egg?

-A Brock episode in Pewter City would also be appreciated so we get more of Brock's siblings and Ludicolo.

-Has Drew ever battled Harley? We need to see that. (Have May turn up late to that contest so it can focus on that battle too.)

-More of the "Legend of Thunder" cast! Come on, Marina is just made to be a Coordinator and they have contests in Johto now. If they do have the dancing there then we know she does that as an "idol trainer" anyway. (If the long-theorised G/S remake turns out to happen then this will be guaranteed.)

-A flashback episode where Vincent unfossilizes a Zugaidosu called Yoshi with a girl named Dani.

-A flashback episode so we can finally find out whatever happened when Ash was a Pikachu.

-Someone in Johto needs a Subomi so it can evolve at the same time as Drew's Roselia. :p

-Max also needs to be the focus of one. I have no idea doing what, though.

-A Misty episode... Maybe she could go to Cerulean Cave with Brock? Granted Mewtwo wouldn't be there but it's a game location that has't been visited before.

-More Daisy! And PUSA better not butcher her by making her less like the 4Kids version. :p
 
i think may deserves HER OWN SERIES because May has become extremely popular with her contests!

Definitely the entire Johto Contest circuit.

Contests can be only 1 episode as Battle Frontier proved, so you would only need at least 8 or so episodes to follow the Johto Contests properly. (which includes a Grand Festival)

May, Drew and Harley are very popular characters so they should be a shoe-in to get the most screentime in specials. Max will probably be there too and we can't forget about Saori.

I want to see May's Eevee evolve into Espeon, and of course her Blaziken needs tons of more screentime.

I used to hate the idea of a May spinoff, but now I'm 100% for it. They can even showcase the Super Contests in Johto and advertise D/P that way too.
 
I'd like them, at least, to do what they did with the early AG Hosos and basically just tie up the stories of the characters returning home after parting with Ash.

It'd be nice if they took May to Johto and she had essentially a mini-series as part of the Pokemon Sunday block following here through that, but I'd be content at least just to have a single episode tying up loose ends.

I'd really rather they didn't continue that much with the specials though. Not if they're going to simply be a matter of taking a poor filler script from the main show, replacing Ash with Ritchie and Jessie and James with Butch and Cassidy as half the Chronicles eps were.
 
Hmm here's what I'd like to see;

. A lot of episodes on Tracey

. Some episodes on May {To see what happend with her and Jhoto}

. Some episodes on Brock

. One on Max

There were people ranting on about a May spinoff when we were only in middle Battle Frontier and there was no evidence of May leaving. Mostly on the Bulbacast, if I remember correctly.

Besides, May has an actual quest to follow. It would make sense if she got a number of specials to show her competing in the various Johto Contests.
 
No one was ranting about it. Well, you might have been but that was just because of the May tension at the time.

I doubt that we will see her whole quest in Johto. Some specials featuring contests, yes, but if the writers wanted to show the whole thing they would have probably just let her go to Shinou.
 
If they decide to put the Super Contests in Johto instead of Shinou though, it would advertise D/P so it would make sense if we got more of her quest.

I think the Contest arc was dropped in the main series to focus more on Hikari and Team Galaxy, (assuming you do indeed have to defeat 9 Galaxy agents).

Since we said that they're not going to focus on three quests at once, it would make sense why the Contests were dropped and put into specials instead. Especially if there's only one Contest Hall in D/P, it means they're not terribly important anymore.
 
1) We need to see the FireRed/LeafGreen girl.
2) May's contests, with Drew/Harley.
3) The typical Misty and Tracey episodes.
4) Bring back Todd.
5) GSC cast.
 
An episode with Ash's father meeting's Ash's mom, and having Ash....

Either that, or a Digimon CrossOver.
 
ok May's contests are NOT GONNA BE HOSO. May will get her own spinoff! Maybe the Hoso to find out what she does in the beginning, but then they should start a WHOLE NEW SERIES about May and her contest.
 
Right now, I'd love to see May's contest adventures in Johto the most of all, I love May, Drew and Harley so it would be a lovely thing to see :3 If they could squeeze in Max and Brock as travelling companions for May then that would also be great, but hey, even without them I feel this is a great thing to focus hosos on.

Other than that I'd love to see a hoso on some of the gym leaders, cos ya know, we only get to see them for a short time, it would be nice to see some involved with their own stories.

More Team Rocket specials would also be a plus :D
