If there were anime adaptions of the manga, who would you like to see cast?

As we know, the Pokémon franchise has dozens of manga spinoffs, but only one anime series stating our intrepid hero Satoshi/Ash Ketchum. This thread is to ask, if any of the various manga were ever adapted into an anime? Who would you cast? And to start things off, I'll talk about the series Viz calls Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure!

Whenever I read my Japanese Pokemon DP volumes, I always hear Hareta's voice as that of Masako Nozawa's Son Goku from Dragon Ball.

I'll probably update with more later when it isn't so late, but in the meantime, how about you give your suggestions?

... And if there was, who would you like to see cast? Who would play Red? Who would play Sapphire? Who would play Mask of Ice? That's kinda the point of this thread.
 
Everyone voiced by Norio Wakamoto. It's just how badass Pokemon Special is.

And I figured I'd give more elaboration on a Pokemon DP cast list.

Pokemon DP

Hareta: Masako Nozawa
Mitsumi: Hiromi Tsuru
(They totally have the whole Goku/Bulma thing going on)
Potchama: Etsuko Kozakura
(I love Hikari's Potchama's voice. However, Piplup's voice sucks. I've grown to tolerate it, but if there were a dub of this theoretical anime series, I'd want a new VA.)
Jun: Daisuke Sakaguchi
(Using his Junichi voice)
Uranus: Shigeru Chiba
(Totally imagining his Buggy the Clown voice from One Piece, except maybe a bit less deep when serious.)
Tougan: Chikao Ohtsuka
(Think of One Piece's Gol D. Roger.)
Akagi: Toshiyuki Morikawa
(Picturing the voice of One Piece's Eneru here.)
Kaisee: Katsuyuki Konishi
(He totally needs all the manliness of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's Kamina.)

Later I may perhaps expand upon what I have here, or do a dub version or do a different manga.
 
*snicker* Y'know I have an irrational hatred for Morikawa's voice and you just know he'd play Akagi as zombielike as he played Oikawa.

Anyway, mine tends towards the English side of things.

Since my dream of hearing Melodee Spevack as Jupiter didn't pan out on the show (and was pretty much impossible from the getgo since she records from LA and Pokemon is a New York production), she's my headvoice for her in DPA (and Special...and the games...let's face it, Jupiter + LadyDevimon's voice = concentrated awesome).

Mitsumi...to me she sounds like Akane Tendo from Ranma 1/2 but I don't know who did her voice.

Unfortunately, my headvoice for Cyrus is based entirely on the games (sounding like a whispering version of BTAS Two-Face wouldn't work for any other incarnation, let's face it), so it's hard for me to cast.
 
Quinton Flynn (Axel [KH2] and Marcus Damon [Digimon Data Squad]) would be a PERFECT protagonist.

EDIT: Wait! English dub or Japanese version?
 
I don't know Japanese VAs so this is an English cast of Special:

Red - Sebastian Arcelus
Green - Tony Salerno
Blue - Kerry Williams
Yellow - Lisa Ortiz
 
Ginji's Rescue Team might be in a game, but it's not in an anime.

I would cast Ginji as a Torchic that speaks English (or Japanese).
I would cast Mudkip, Ginji's partner, as a Mudkip that speaks English (or Japanese).
I would cast NineTales as a Ninetales that speaks English or Japanese in 2 voices.
 
Yes. Pokemon Special as an anime would be so good. If the writers of the anime ever decide to ditch Ash Ketchum as the main character (which I seriously doubt they would do) continuing a spin-off anime series based on Pokemon Special would be one way they could move on from Ash and still get people to watch IMO.

I don't know who I would have voice them, because I don't know every VA by name of the top of my head.

Green - Paku Romi - Sexy, husky voice = YES. If picking a male VA, I'd pick Suzumura Kenichi.
Yellow - Rie Kugimiya - SUPER CUTE VOICE <3
Blue - Something fierce. Something sexy. Something like... Hirano Aya.
Silver - Soichiro Hoshi, or even Paku Romi.
Ruby - Motoko Kumai
Sapphire - DEFINITELY Fumiko Orikasa. omgash<333
Crystal - Yui Makino, Kae Araki
Platina - Kikuko Inoue FOR SURE.
Pearl - Tomokazu Seki
Dia - Yamamoto Taisuke

I got lazy for some and just thought of the first seiyuu that came to mind... Some of these are really thought out well though `-

I'm never going to understand how can you hate Morimori's voice. Never. And I think he would've made for a wonderful Akagi.

Aestivate, must you read my mind? These casting choices for the Special characters you thought up are absolutely perfect! Those are definitely people I'd want to see voicing these characters. Though lulz at Yamamoto Taisuke. I don't think I've heard him outside of Digimon, but somehow I think it'd really fit Dia.

Though, you didn't cast Emerald... I was thinking of Kiuchi Reiko! I've heard her using a higher, kiddier voice than she uses most of the time before, and I think that would be perfect for Emerald.

Well um...I liked him as Mummymon? But he sounds too dry with everyone else I've ever heard him as, without the necessary backbone to it.

Melissa Fahn would make an interesting Sapphire.

OK, I looked up who did Akane Tendo's voice (and who I suggested for Mitsumi)--it's Myriam Sirois.

AND OMG I FORGOT ABOUT EMERALD. But Kiuchi Reiko a PERFECT pick. Speaking of Digimon, I just exhausted my collection of Digimon Drama CD's and I can't think of anyone better. Daisuke and Rald might as well be brothers <3
