As I'm sure mostly everyone knows, the main character of the pokemon anime is Ash Ketchum. The majority of episodes resort around his side of the story, generally in battles, story development, and training. But aside from him, which character perspectives would you love to see much more in the series? Would it be Lana, trying to train her Popplio to make a phenominal bubble balloon to travel in, or Kiawe on his quest to master Fire-types?

Post down below.

Gladion is super edge lol

But I think he could be Ash’s main rival but his traumatizing past makes him unwilling to do other things then battle

I actually like Ash's perspective, but I would also like to see things from other people's perspectives, kinda like what the writers have already done with Alain and Pokémon Chronicles, without having the main protagonist shoehorned into the episode (I'm looking at you, "Meowth, Colress and Team Rivarly!" and "Mimikyu's Disguise!").

If I had to choose, I'd see the POV of Hau, Lillie and Gladion. Those are the characters with the most potential, along with TRio.

Gladion.

I definitely like what they did with Alain through the ME specials, so I'd love to see some episodes where Gladion is the main focus and we get to see from his point of view.

All of them, as I feel it benefits the companions in different ways. I don't know whose perspective I'd like to see the most of, but what I do know is that I'd like to see all of their perspectives at least once.

For the obvious reasons with those who have a storyline and plot relevance in the games (Gladion, Lillie) - it would be fascinating to see in what ways the anime would elaborate on their storyline, what altercations would occur, how these storylines would play out in this medium.

But also for the characters who don't have this strong claim to plot relevance, they also deserve their day in the sun. Every character should be their own and realised to some extent as well - they are also a person, a player in the story. SM026 hit a high note for me with viewing the episode largely from Sophocles' - a character who doesn't have the most screentime or plot relevance - perspective, it allowed me to view him as his own character with his story and life. When even the minor characters feel like they have a life outside of the main storyline - that is to me, when a story comes alive.

If it has to someone currently relevant Gladion because I liked him in the games.

If it could be anyone whatsoever I chose the guy who started with Bulbasaur at the same time as Ash and Gary.

I would love an episode set in Po Town that has no one of the main cast whatsoever. Gladion's POV would fit well!

I'd like to see some of Kukui's in-game personality coming up, and his ambition of creating an Alola league being reaffirmed by seeing Ash's quick progress (or maybe created, if the anime takes that path).
I'd also like to see a grand challenge from Ash through Kiawe's eyes, as only he in the whole gang seems to understand why Ash makes a lot of his trademark moves.

Lillie-What has she learned since she could touch Snowy? How the two play together?
Kukui-How has his life changed since he adopted Ash? What are his interests outside being a teacher?

Of the listed options I'd go with either Lillie or Lana since I think it would be interesting to get their perspectives on things. Lillie because of her Pokemon fear and Lana just because she's so observant.

100% agree with @Likeitornot. I'd love more episodes to be shown from the perspective of the character in question, whoever it may be, rather than just defaulting to Satoshi-goggles.

(Whilst I'm obviously never going to turn down a story from the TRio's POV, they probably get the best of this anyway as the majority of even their individual scenes in episodes have to be from their viewpoint because Satoshi is not in on them.)
