...what would you pick?
There's lots of bad shows currently on-air, but which one show would you want to cancel? Dumb reality rubbish, a show past it's sell-by-date, or just a show you find annoying.
I'm gonna have to go with the most disappointing show still on the air, the big one, The Simpsons.
The Simpsons used to be an utterly classic show, every new episode was fresh with ideas, wit and commentary. We grew to love The Simpsons and Springfield's residents, but now I think they need to be buried.
Simpsons has lot a lot of it's charm and humour. It wasn't always a show where every celebrity suddenly found them self in Springfield, it was about the The Simpsons and the huge cast of characters we got introduced to. I don't think that The Simpsons has anything new to say, they've done everything, some of it twice, and there's nothing left to explore.
In 2015, the bad seasons heavily outweigh the good, for a good deal of fans, as soon as we see that HD intro we know to turn off. The series has changed just as we have throughout the years, but for a lot of us we didn't want the Simpsons to change - we wanted reliable comedy. I've seen my favourite episodes countless of times and I'll still laugh at them because they're timeless, whereas with post-season 9 episodes, I find myself not laughing as much or at all, disengaged and disinterested. The characters aren't how they used to be, the animation is flawless and robotic, the Simpsons is no longer the same, consistently fantastic show it used to be prior to 2000.
The Simpsons should be cancelled.
