If you could change any of Ash's companions

I saw a post asking what changes in Ash's companions' teams would you make, so I was curious. This is what I would do:

AG:
- Make it Ash, Brendan and May. Brendan would fulfill the role of Brock, being the smart one and the more practical one. He would have his NPC role and aspire to be a researcher like his father.
DP
- Make it Ash, Lucas and Dawn. The same as Brendan, Lucas would also fulfill the role of Brock, have his NPC role and aspire to be a researcher.
BW:
- The trio would be Ash, Iris and Cheren. Since we already have a more experienced female character, Cheren could fulfill the role of the inexperienced character that's just started his journey. At the end of the series, he would get an offer to become a Gym Leader and accept it at the end. Iris would leave halfway to challenge the Gyms and the Pokemon League, where she reunites with Ash and they have a battle, which Ash wins. She gets replaced with Rosa until the end of the series, who wants to be a Pokemon Researcher. However, Iris would travel with Ash for a short time after the League, but then leave them to take over the Opelucid Gym.
SM:
- Ash's companions would be Lillie, Hau, Selene and sometimes Gladion.

Gen 3: Change Brock for Roxanne (fossil researcher).
Gen 4: Change Brock for Maylene (fighter, with a relationship with Candice and clashes a lot with Dawn) and Buck (lore specialist, with a relationship with Flint).
Gen 7: Kiawe and Lana are secondary characters.
Gen 8: Make Chloe a permanent member from the midpoint onwards.

Gen 5: I’d definitely substitute Cilan with Cheren, such a missed opportunity.
Gen 8: Give Goh and Chloe a different goal or substitute them with other OC characters.

-Make it Ash, May and Wally. Have Brendan be the rival.

DP:
-Change Brock with either Buck or Lucas

BW:
-IDK why, but I'd like to see Ash with Bianca AND Cheren. It'd be hilarious. Iris could be the main rival!

XY:
-Change Serena's goal to be a Pokemon Groomer/Stylist and have her compete in Pokemon shows that sort of function like Dog Shows where they groom and show off their Pokemon.

SM:
-Idk why but I like the school vibes of the SM anime.

JN:

-Have Goh's goal to be writing stories about Pokemon, which is why he's obsessed with catching them so that he could get better experience with writing. He could have an obsession with Mew and want to write a book about his experience. When he meets Ash, maybe he'd want to write a book about his journey--a good way to send him off? A running gag would be that his stories would always get rejected by the publishers.
-Have Chloe catch that Galarian Ponyta.

I'm not really sure with most of the others but I'd probably change Journeys up significantly by having some different new faces as companions although ones that'd also be doing their own things. Goh and Chloe would be mostly side characters and although Goh would still make it his mission to catch every Pokémon it'd be significantly toned down.

The series would end with Goh becoming an assistant for professor Sonia in Galar and Chloe making her mind up about what to do next (so none of that shite where she couldn't come up with an answer at the end).
