If you could change one thing in BW what would that be?

Just one thing, eh?

...there's a lot I'd like to change, but if I could make one thing different, it would be for our star characters to be more likable. More likable & interesting heroes would make for a good spoonful of sugar :)
 
Divide the Starters up.

Seriously, look at the BW Cast, look at the Starters, notice anything?

Thematically, dividing them up would fit pretty well...Ash gets Oshawott, Japanese-inspired like himself, and with a simillar color-scheme and personality. The playful and active Pokabu with a darker-color scheme goes to Iris. And the refined, European-style Snivy would fit great with "Grass-specialist" Cilan.
 
I'd have started by not pressing Ash's reset button. Following my idea of Ash becoming a mentor to a rookie trainer who takes on the gyms would've (IMHO) improved things drastically.
 
Ash winning the league or at least becoming runner-up.
 
Not introduce those don tournaments. -_- And I'd prob accept only 1 or so.

And also give ash a victory, it makes me so mad that ash did'nt have not one win in these tournaments. (i figured he wasn't gonna win the league)
 
make episode n at least 2 or 3 more episodes, and shorten DA to only the alexa episodes.
 
More Pokemon Caught by Cilan and more Pokemo n by the Rivals and not just 3 BLOODY Pokemon I SAY.
 
Less emphasis on tournaments and so many rivals, not hitting the reset button for Ash, more screen time for more of his lesser-seen Pokemon, better use of Trip's screen time, and less of making Pansage into an easily-beatable butt-monkey.
