I would choose a mix of different types as well as Pokémon that proved their self's to be strong

Charizard he has pure power as has been shown in battle many times

snorlax he can a lot of hit's with out taking damage as well as land a powerful attack

heracross he can also take a lot of hits as well as being powerful

sceptile is fast as well as strong proving his self in battle many times

Pikachu his proven his self in battle more than once

greninja is arguably ash's strongest water type already proving his self in battle

I would go with probably what could be considered his best team
Greninja, Infernape, Pikachu, Goodra, Sceptile, and Snorlax

Though I wouldn't mind switching out Snorlax for Primeape, Hawlucha, or Krookodile.

If Torterra wasn't handled terribly, I would consider him. Otherwise, Snorlax, Heracross, Staraptor, Krookodile, Talonflame, Hawlucha and Noivern could all be there.
