If one of Ash's Pokémon stored at Oak were to return for a complete series, which one would you prefer?

The anime has done it before. Pokémon who were left behind did return more than once to the main cast for a saga or even for a complete series. Ash's Phanpy returned for Battle Frontier after being left when he went to Hoenn, Ash's Charizard returned during the last half of Best Wishes and, more recently, Jessie's Wobbuffet returned permanently after being left at TR HQ during the whole Best Wishes saga.

If something like to this was to happen again, which one of Ash's Oaked Pokémon would you like to return, so we could see it being developed of even evolving (as Phanpy did)? I am not talking about returning for a battle, I am talking about returning for a complete (or "half-complete") journey throughout a region.

If I could chose, I would want a lot of Ash's old Pokémon to return permanently (particularly those who never actually got to "travel" with him), but I think I'd chose his Totodile.

To be completely honest, instead of one permanent old member for a new series, I'd rather have Ash occasionally withdraw some of his older Pokés to train the newbies, especially if one of the veterans happened to be in the new region's Pokédex. It avoids stunted growth on the part of his newer 'mons while also keeping his other ones from rotting in Oak's lab for no reason! Besides, this could lead to new group dynamics between Ash's current team and the veterans that we would never see otherwise!

Bulbasaur. My other picks are Squirtle and Snorlax. Also Pigeot and Butterfree (so sad). We already saw Charizard, and we'll probably see him again.

Gible, Quilava, or Bayleef. Oh wait, Totodile as well. (Personally though I'd rather not see it evolve. I just like Totodile as it is now :D )

I'd like to see him bring back Muk or Kingler, Muk was a pretty great battler when he was used and Kingler just.. HE NEEDS ATTENTION!
