If you lived in the Pokémon universe, what would you be?

I'm not sure if this has been made before, but here goes.

If you were living in the Pokémon world, and could become literally everything (it has to be some kind of occupation, of course) that has been shown in the games, anime, manga, whatever else official part of the Pokémon frachise we have out there, what would you be? Examples would be a trainer, a connoisseur, working in some kind of corporation, even a Nurse Joy would be possible.

Now it would great if reasons were provided for whatever you chose, but either way, gogogogo!
 
I think I'd be like Nando and participate in both contests and gym battles. Both sound really fun!

I'd also do Pokeringer! Can't forget that one. :D
 
I'd be a rival. I'd designate 1 trainer and train myself to fight and defeat him/her, by whatever means necessary. The psychology of a rival like Gary or Paul is much different than that of a trainer like Ash or Ritchie, and I find that psychology fascinating.
 
Dark guy who sacrifices Pokémons to some unholy gods and stuff.

Lol no, let's see... I would catch Krabby as soon as my mom gives me permission to try catch my very own Pokémon, and then I would escape to wilderness (without Pokedex or stuff like that) before my mom kicks me out herself. I probably wouldn't try collecting 'em all, I just explore the world. I would choose Krabby as my Pokémon because when it evolves into Kingler I could travel across the ocean on it's back.
 
A 21 year old child who wastes every day playing this game/watching this show about imaginary creatures called "Animals", making posts on the internet about said game and generally not doing very much. ._.
 
Aura Guardian. Use my Pokemon and my Aura powers to help others.
 
I guess I'd start off as a trainer, and with the journey prepare to become a Pokémon professor. Travelling around the regions, gathering data on the various Pokémon, while still training to beat the gyms, and eventually compete in the Pokémon league, that would be the life style I wanted. Possibly entering contests once in a while, just to take a break from the usual other stuff could be fun too, but not the way I would occupy myself in the world.

I'd be a rescuer. I'd have a nice, big farm or ranch and I'd take in abandoned Pokemon. Most of those take-ins would be Goletts and I'd treat them all like my own children. I'd also have a Golurk who would help out with any of the heavy work. Life would probably be a bit tough, but awesome.
 
I would probably be a trainer and travel with some friends. Goal would be to be a pokemon master, because I would just be like I am now: wanting to win all the time ;)
So I would challenge gyms, participate in battle tournaments, maybe try PokéRinger too. And the leagues of course.

Ahhh wouldn't that be great.
 
I would be a professor, studying Pokemon statistics and chances in battles. Also experamenting with breeding to get the best stats.
 
A POKEMON DOCTOR

An artist. Would go around the pokemon world and draw every pokemon that I come across until I have drawn every single one.
 
Realistically, I would probably be a regular towner with one, maybe two semi-battle capable (un)common Pokémon, studying like I do now to get a good job and whatnot. Thinking about it, working in research facilities like the Devon Corporation wouldn't be that bad.

Now, I would like to be a Pokémon breeder (as shown in the Animé, not just the "shady" business). It would be quite nice. Giving a shot at being a trainer could be OK, too, but I doubt I'd enjoy traveling all the time and seeing my Pokémon hurt often.
 
I would be a Trainer, and just enjoy moving from one region to another exploring with my riolu and lucario what else would anyone want but total freedom
 
I would be a member of Team Rocket.

"Steal Pokemon for profit. Exploit Pokemon for profit. All Pokemon exist for the glory of Team Rocket."

And after we got disbanded, I'd become a recluse and live in the wilderness with my Pokemon. Yep.
