if you were a character in the anime, would you be someone who already exist? eg.ash, misty, brock, dawn etc.
or would you be your own character? which region, what position, job or quest?

I'd be my own character, In the Jhoto Region (I like the Pokemon there the best) and I'd probably be a breeder like Brock. Maybe have my own breeding center or something, and I'd have a little Charmander that stayed out of its Pokeball too.

If I was a character in the anime I would wish I wasn't. You don't exist unless Ash, Brock or Dawn or any of the other main characters are around you, and you cease to exist once they are gone.
