I first would like to start off by wishing everyone here a good summer. I leave for camp tomorrow, and won't be back til the end of the summer. There is limited internet access once a week, and that will be used seldomly and wisely, so I won't be here. I won't see the League, and I won't be able to read what goes on, but it's great because I need a break from this place anyway, and I need to give Pokemon a break, so when I get back I can rekindle my love for it.

I apologize to those who I have offended in the past, but I do not apologize for speaking my mind. Sometimes I did let my bias side get out of control, and that I am sorry for.

Before I leave, however, I wanted to leave you all with this last thread of mine, before I leave for camp tomorrow. If you were a writer, how would you write the show? Would you take anything out, would you add anything, would you end the current storyline and start a new one, or would you follow up to where it is now?

I love the show the way it is, but I only would change Misty's position on the show and her battle screentime compared to Ash's as well as give her, her own show. I also would love more Jessie, May, and Dawn screentime, as well as more Cynthia, Jasmine, and Fantina.

I would love to have a series based on contests only of May and Dawn, as well as their rivals, and Lyra's first league with Khory, as well as Cynthia and Prima and Agatha flashbacks on how they got where they are today.

Well, I hope you all have an excellent summer, and I hope you all can forgive me for being a little bit out of control and biased at times. I will not apologize for loving characters with a lot of passion, but I will apologize for the way I went about it.

I would end Ash's story, as its gone on long enough. Give all the main cast proper conclusions, and wrap up the damn show.

Then for the newest games, it would be a reboot set in a different universe with an all-new cast.

So basically I'd give the show the damn ending it should have had years ago.

Agreed.

But since that will not happen any time soon, I would still get rid of Brock, keep Dawn, make Ash finally get a fully evolved water type that is used more than four times, and end it after that season/region. You know, make Ash a damn Pokemon Master already!
 
I depends where I would be starting from, but would love the show to be more like one comics such as Adventures or Ash and Pika.
 
I'd make comashipping Pokeshipping, Advanceshipping, and Pearlshipping canon in the same episode to start shit up.

Then I'd bring Misty back on the show and watch the carnage on the forums once again.

Ash wouldn't be on a pokemon journey anymore, he'd be his true age...23. And he would own his own pimping business (cuz god knows he has enough bitches).

Team Rocket will have their happy ending and live together in a pleasant summer cottage.

Every episode would still end in a sunset.

I don't think that fans should be in charge of writing the script.

If I were the writer, I'd probably make the show have a timeskip. I'd love to see everyone in their teens. And maybe add some more shipping and drama while still keeping the hilarity.

And I'd probably have Dawn as a permanent character. Why? 'Cause she's awesome. Period. Well, either that or her own spin-off series.

I'd bring back the hosos. Misty and May's fans deserve to see their favorite character.

And to top things off, I'd totally add my two OCs, Isoko and Daisuke. After that, the anime would be 3x more hilarious than Kanto. XD

Edit: And I would make Conway a recurring character. He needs more love. ;^;

And I would make AdvanceShipping, HeatTagShipping, and OrangeShipping canon while wiping ContestShipping out of existence *shot*

Cut down on Characters of the Day so that we can have more time for all of our favorite people from each region or arc. Maybe skip back and forth among popular characters on their adventures: watch Misty when she runs the Gym and Ash after he ditches her in one full our of action!
 
I would definitely write in a bigger role for Hitler. Its not that hes doesn't play a very big part in the story, because he does. I would just try to put more emphasis on his love affair with Ash. I think the Ash-Hitler romance plot line just has so much potential
 
I would advance the franchise as a whole, making it more suitable for teenagers. Over the years, the Pokemon games, anime, movies, TCG, etc. have captivated millions of kids worldwide.

Changing the anime and the games in particular to be more geared towards teens and young adults would be awesome IMO!

I'm not saying turn it into a bloodbath and have all sorts of killing, sex, dark themes, etc, but just make it a little more grown up to reward those who have remained faithful to the franchise as we've gotten older.

I would either continue Ash's story later in his life, perhaps as a 16 or 17 year old kid and have the danger he faces more believable than the cartoony way Team Rocket is always sent "blasting off again."

I'd introduce a little more romance into the story and have more grown up issues akin to those seen in the Harry Potter series. That saga proves you can be geared towards kids while still being appealing to adults.

I guess this is what I've tried to do in my fic, "POKEMON: The Power Inside"...(shameless plug, sorry)
 
I would bring Cyrus back and give him an ending that makes SENSE. Even if I had to pull an Act of God to do it (because let's face it, that IS the only way he could come back). That ending pissed off the entire Galactic fandom, not only because it's terribly depressing, but because it MAKES NO SENSE WITH HIS CHARACTER. Hell, he tells you in the games flat out that he WON'T "go somewhere alone" because there's no point to it. And yes I know that games=/=anime, but there have to be standards or otherwise you're just pulling stuff out of thin air.

Work in a Sinnoh Battle Frontier bit, even if it had to be in Issho. Maybe the region-specific character would be doing that.

Establish WTF the deal is with Aura.

MORE ROCKETS. More anime-exclusive Evil Team members in general. Galactic and Aqua got squat, Magma got Brodie and Butler, and Rocket got a ton, but we need more!
 
I'd bring Misty back and make pokeshipping canon! Oh and also if pokeshipping is canon, then they can wrap up Ash's story, but if not, he can stay.
 
Step 1: End Ash's story. Quite frankly I'm sick of him.
Step 2: New tropical region.
Step 3: Female lead character
Step 4: Make Team Rocket villains worthy of being feared. Terrorist bombings, major thefts, all that stuff. No more Jessie and James type characters.
Step 5: The lead character would actually stand a chance in a fair fight against the gym leaders and EARN her badges.

edit: I should just get back to work on my fic instead of posting about my ideas :p
 
I would do several changes fo this show if i had any influence on it,since as it stands now more improvement is needed in my opinion.

-First of all i would probably stop with girl replacing,changing current predictable and somewhat annoying formula establishing group having stable cast.
Out of all girls,considering how Misty received the least development never getting closure,and has many unfinished things in her story like goal of becoming water poklemon master,aswell not being explored enough(for examle we hardly know anything about her backstory),along with lot of untapped potential i would bring her back to main cast to develop her character and pokemon more,aswell bringing more comedy which only she could provide.

-i would have this show stick little less with games,bringing more unpredicabillity into it as whole with anime only arcs,characters and mini sagas like Orange Islands provided.That way its much harder to expect what is going to happen,bringing more overal enjoyment to it.

-If Brock were to stay,he would get some bigger role in this anime expanding more on his goal of becoming top breeder,having him involved more in current storyline.

-Girls which arent in cast anymore would be brought back more,contributing to current plot instead of being left forgotten appearing for very rare occasions after every couple of years.

-Give Ash finally female rival,which should have happened long time ago.
 
I would end the series with Ash becoming a Pokemon master, then start working on a Pokemon Special anime :D
 
Pikachu would be murdered by Satoshi himself go away forever to play Lacross or something and Satoshi would get a new starter every saga. Everything else can remain the same.
 
Rocket-dan only show, of course! Man that would be awesome.
