If you were in charge of voice casting who would you pick?

I can't really imagine Alder with a voice other than English Dub Jiraiya's from Naruto, so I'd say David Lodge for Alder.

Sue me, but it'd be cool, imo, if we had characters-of-the-day that had the voices of characters like Jimmy Neutron or some of the kids from The Magic School Bus (although since that show's ended like 15 years ago I'm pretty sure nearly none of them can imitate those voice again).

I would let Jason Griffith do more roles, because he has a lot of talent and it never seems to get utilized properly. Even though he has proven in other series (and Pokemon) that he is a quite capable VA.

Well, I'd get rid of the TPCi VAs ASAP, and replace them with either the 4Kids VAs from Seasons 1-8 or hire a dubbing company like FUNi or Viz Media to dub the anime. You know, because the older VAs actually knew how to EMOTE and weren't caricatures of former VAs with bad voices.

Man do I miss his James. One of the most hilarious roles Eric Stuart did.

Jimmy's is a psuedo-British nasally imitation and it doesn't work for me (though his James and Sarah's Ash are the only main cast VAs whose voices are tolerable-- but obviously not even close to as good as the former VAs-- in the current English dub).

You do realize that a large majority of the TPCi actors are from 4Kids as well right? Jason Griffith, Carter Cathcart, Jamie McGonnigal, Bella Hudson, Lisa Ortiz, Kayzie Rogers, John Campbell, and Darren Dunstan are just a few of them. So by getting rid of them would also mean getting rid of a portion of the 4Kids actors.

Yes, but the only voices that matter to a majority of fans are the main cast. And after six years, >75% of fans do not like the current dub of the series. COTD voices can be done by literally anyone...

TPCi's English dub wasn't even decent until BW, and it's certainly not excellent like the 4Kids dub was. I never questioned the genuine emotion I saw from the 4Kids VAs, something TPCi really needs to work on along with actually slipping in some good jokes that aren't retarded or forced.

Where'd you get that statistic from? Only the online adult fans? I bet the children who are fans don't care one way or the other.

They were black listed because they decided to go with the new dub. If any of the other actors chose to do so at the same time they would have been black listed too.
