I agree...but I'm too big a fan to care WHAT style it is. I'll buy it anyway.

Sorry, I think that Advance Wars or Nintendogs will manage to retain that title when the game is released but it'll definitely be at the top.

It looks Teh Awesome too, you cannot see just how cool that 3D on 2D effect works in screenshots.
 
I had been excited about this game since it was annouced. So far, it looks like this game will fufill and possibly surpass expectations.
 
Indeed, well, maybe not indeed. Nintendogs will probably not be considered the best, but definitely the most innovative. As for me, I really dont like 2-D mario action that much, but i'll probably buy this game anyway.
Edit: Gahck! I just saw the images. It would appear that the characters lack the 2-D quality, but the stages are full of it. I cnt wait to be giant mario.
