Ignored game characters appearing in the anime?

Back when Hoenn got over, no one expected Wallace or any of the other unappeared game characters to appear in the anime. But then Wallace pops out of nowhere in Sinnoh, despite having nothing to do with Generation IV in the games. There have been quite a number of characters that have been ignored: Phoebe, Glacia, Will, Janine and other characters (Wally, Gary's sister).

Note, this isn't confined only to the Diamond & Pearl saga but do you think they are going to appear in the anime at any point?
 
Has Wally (the boy from R/S/E) been in Anime? DOn't recall he has, but he would have been good for an appearance once in a while.

Or what about the siser of Dawn/Lucas in D/P games, the one that says which routes swarms can be found on. The way the storys been, I don't think they could introduce her now without some controversey
 
Apart from those teeny cameos, Brendan and Lucas haven't been seen at all, but of course, there's a reason for that, because we don't really need a character like that because Ash already fills in the male protagonist role.

The Johto and Hoenn Elite Four, I don't see appearing anymore. Sure, Agatha appeared much later than I predicted, but that's only because Ash returned to Kanto. I don't see a reason why Ash should return to Hoenn, and not really Johto either, unless they're really going to make that GS remake, and might not be the case.

I was also quite surprised that Wally didn't appear, considering that his role in the game is somewhat notable.

No he hasn't.

Dasiy (Gary's sister in the games) has never been in the anime. Neither has the Girl Trainer that you can play as from FireRed/LeafGreen (Bulbapedia calls her Leaf), Koga's daughter Janine has never made an appearance, either.

Those are some of the one's I can think of.
 
I wish Blue would make an appearance. Preferably in the black dress that she initially wore in the manga, not the outfit she wears in FRLG. A friend of mine and I dubbed her "Ellen", and I think she's *the* cutest girl character in the entire franchise.
 
It doesn't look like we're ever see any of the ignored characters.

However, if Pokemon G/S is remade, it would probably give us some chance for Will, Karen and Janine.

It would be very cool if they appeared, especially Janine...

Anyway, I think that I have listed the ignored characters in some past threads, didn't I?

But the character Blue (or Green) actually just from the manga, while I think the female protagonist from FRLG was called Leaf.
 
I don't get why Janine never appeared but they had Koga's made up sister appear during Johto I think the writers would perfer to put in the girl chracters more recently Marina has had a couple of apperances but there has never been a sighn of Jimmy she is even known to have more pokemon then him
 
This isn't about who all didn't appear in the anime. Its about who you think would appear. After all, if Wallace can appear, why not the others?
 
Wallace probably only appeared because they made a model sheet for him at the beginning of Hoenn before they knew Emerald would switch him out for Juan.

Also he's a Gym leader in R/S and not just the champion, so it makes sense to see all the Gym leaders in the anime at least once.

That's why I think Janine has a chance to still show up, especially if there's a GS remake.
 
I for one was surprised to see any variant on the "HI I LIKE SHORTS!" kid (and eagerly await the no doubt never coming day when we may see the "I HAVE A GROWTH OF SUCTION CUPS" guy).

Anyway, who honestly expected to see Agatha? And running the Viridian Gym no less?

I think Silver's only appearance was in an opening once. That's good and bad. It's good because that means that he was kept in mind and he wasn't necessarily overlooked, per se. However, it's bad in that they thought about him, but didn't think to do anything with him?

Hopefully they're saving them, because if they actually stick to the story that he's Giovanni's son, he could play a big part in the future. His character was always interesting. He and Blue shared some similarities in their trickery and unconventional ways. I'd like to see either one of them, and Daisy for that matter too.

If they do another um, what's it called--"Chronicles", then they could bring in some like they did "Jimmy"/Gold. I think some of em'd be cool.
