Illegal Pokemon

Anyway, a couple years back I got some illegal Pokes from my friend off a Action Replay code. Back then, I didn't understand that they didn't do any good and just wanted them for their power. After I found out that they weren't any good, I've been trying to get rid of them ever since. I've tried putting them in the GTS and everything. Some of them work, but others don't, so I've just decided to breed them so I can use the offspring for further training, and release the adult Pokemon.

So I was wondering, if you breed using an illegal Pokemon, is the offspring also illegal, or can I use them in the GTS, VGCs and other tournaments?

No it really depends on personal opinion. I don't think it's any big deal. But if you want to be sure maybe keep breeding the babies to get the genes of that illegal Pokemon out.
