Illumination

I saw Migration this year. People said it was generic and not worth a watch and I was a little bit cynical because I think New York City is overhyped and overdone but I ended up enjoying it. I found it really cute with lots of beautiful scenery!
 
I remember watching Migration the holiday season it came out. Frankly, I was the only one who watched it and it kinda caused a little family drama when I requested to see it over anything else.

Honestly, I thought the film was alright. Had some charming moments here and there.
 
Illumination is...fine. I can see a dip in the graphic quality compared to something like Zootopia but it's never been a huge deal for me. Sing is arguably my favorite of theirs. I also liked the Super Mario Bros. Movie for what it was, less of a story and more of an exhibition.

Also this line in Despicable Me 2 cracks me up: "My dream is to play video games for a living." "Wow, you're so complicated."
