I'm new! (and I got a question)

I'm playing the PokéMon Emerald game and when I went to the Pokémon Center in Fallarbor Town after training the nurse told me my pokémon had been infected with something called "PokéRU". She said not much is known about it besides that pokémon with it grow well. When I look at my pokémon's summary it says it the status box "PkRS". Can anyone tell me what this thing my pokémon has is exactly, and has any one else had it before?
 
LIke omgz! I dont know much about it but I know that it is really freaking rare and if you train your pokemon while they have it it makes there stats go up way faster than they normally would. It makes them like uber... But I believe after you heal them at a pokecenter several times it will go away. So maybe just use potions. lucky...
