If you're from Britain you may have heard of Toonami. Yes? Well, they show all the pokemon episodes in Britain, unfortunately (and this is the second time this has happened) Toonami keeps getting up to 'Pokemon Ranger! Deoxys crisis!' and then showing the episodes again from 'Fear Factor Phony'. I was just wondering if anyone was sick of it yet?

American Toonami does that too. Not sure if it's between the same episodes, but I would guess, given that it's the most recent season and all, and that's probably all they have the rights to at the moment.

Wow, I never knew there was an American Toonami. Then again American Cartoon Network actually shows pokemon episodes don't they? Ours doesn't. I think Toonami is actually a branch of Cartton Network but I could be wrong (hey, maybe I should write in to Paul Crackett ((head of Toonami, also anmie expert of Kraze Club)) and ask him. Doubt it'd get into the mag...)

The Toonami here is a weekday block, formerly 6:30PM - 8:30PM Monday to Friday, but now 6:30PM - 8:00PM Monday to Thursday. The programming is 100% superhero shows, e.g. Justice League, JLU, Teen Titans, Batman: TAS, The Batman, Superman: TAS, Ben 10, Static Shock...

I gave up watching Pokémon on Toonami ages ago, the show was better off on Sky One where there was only one new episode on Sunday mornings, spacing them out nicely.

Really? What do you think about this, Fabuvinny? I know you're viewing this thread!

Constantly going back isn't that annoying to me since I stop paying attention until the next new batch arrives. (And at least we get this season in 2 parts rather than 4.) What annoyed me was the obsession with Johto holding back the real premiers last year.

But that didn't really matter after I moved to Uni without a TV.

EDIT: Um, I was already replying...

I've heard British Toonami has shows like....Life With Derek...

American Toonami is really cool, probably my favorite block on CN.

British Toonami found it couldn't be an entire channel with just the kind of stuff on the American CN block so it was given a new image a while back.

I really feel sorry for people trying to keep up with Pokemon outside the U.S.

Not only is Pokemon aired horribly outside the U.S., but you guys have to deal with months of repeats.

Its no surprise why most people outside the U.S. watch the dub online.

Not only Britain.

Our toonami is even worse:
19:00 Ben 10
19:25 Teen Titans
19:50 Justice League
20:10 Transformers Energon

Nothing new, maybe 1 new thing a YEAR. Not comparable with Jetix. And none of them shows Pokemon.

Why do people complain when there's nothing to complain? Would you rather like to get Master Quest 4 times a week in hour when you're not even in home? With blurry and too bright vision and monophonic audio?

Tell me about it. I can't get CN - even via our Satellite service - so I've been dependent on YTV since the KidsWB move... and they just set us back to the start of Pokemon Advanced Battle a month or so ago. We haven't even seen an episode with the new VAs yet x.x

At least this makes me feel a little hopeful...

Where I'm living, they're showing Pokemon from the start again after showing the whole Hoenn series. Would be a while before I get to see D/P.

Yea I ditto what Scott said. I think for the first time I'm happy to be an American :p

In case anyone wants to make a comparison, the US toonami consists of Pokemon, Gash/Zach Bell, Bobobo, teen titians, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, One Piece, and MAR. (It's almost the Shueshia/Viz block, also sometimes they switch the shows around) running from 7-11pm on Saturday (only)

I don't hate toonami, but I've stopped watching pokemon since the series ended, and never saw the english deoxys ranger special, so I don't know how it is.

The American Toonami and Adult Swim both are very good programming blocks IMO

Pokemon doesn't come on Toonami anymore, does it? o_O

I think it only comes on Miguzi and they play 2 episodes randomly on Saturday mornings and Sunday at 5.
