I've gotta say a little something. Guys, when uploading images, please don't put exclamation points and question marks in the filename. In fact, when uploading images for episode headers, what'd be ideal would be to upload them at the episode code.

And make sure that they aren't gifs. It'd be great if I could get some people to help go through the old episodes which we DO have gif images for and take screenshots as either jpg or png to upload... in the same frame, hopefully, but if that's not doable, close is good.

Speaking of which, exactly how do you upload images? Being disabled on Bulbapedia, I tried the Archives (is this correct?) and saved "Spr 4p 009.png"

However, on the Blastoise page, this does not show. I have cleared the cache of the page (ctrl+refresh), and it it not showing up. When I click the link it shows up as a Bulbapedia image.

If you click on the link in the sprite table, you can see that the image is on the site. You uploaded it correctly - it just takes a while to show up on the article for some reason.

Couldn't you also just save the .gif files, open them in Photoshop or Paint or what-have-you, and re-save it as a .jpg? Unless the problem is picture quality, not just the filetype...

Yes, the problem is with GIF’s low color depth.

Yes, you could save a gif and convert it to jpg, but then you get both artifacting AND crappy colors. It's best to recapture it from the episode.
