In search of battle/trade buddies

Hey! I just joined bulbagarden forums mainly to meet some people who want to trade and battle, I am somewhat of a pokemon veteran, been playing for 14 years although the number of battles I had with real people can be counted on the fingers of your hands. I have all games except the gen 1 remakes and gen 3 main titles. I am vigorously playing pokemon blue on the 3ds right now, and Ill be happy to battle, although it might take some time till Im battle ready, my top mon is only level 20.
