ive been looking at some episodes, and in most of them, Ash, misty and brock sleep in sleeping bags. but, when they wake up and continue their journey, their sleeping bags arent with them. and brocks bag can carry 3 bags
 
If I remember, brock carried them... (image search)
 
It's anime. Logic doesn't apply.
 
It's called FridgeLogic...Google it.

Besides, Brock's bag is a hammerspace...it can devour everything!
 
lol, this question is like asking, where does brock store his big cooking pot
