I like to play lots of video games although surprisingly the only system I play video games on are nintendo systems. My older brother has a ps3 I think but I've never really wanted to play ps3 games. I'm actually planning on getting a lot of older pokemon generation 3 games soon because apparently generation 2 cannot trade to generation 3 so to catch every pokemon you need to get all the generation 3 games and catch all the pokemon from there and from there transfer them up. However... some of you you may be thinking: "oh but you can't catch mew in emerald because you missed the event" and I'd reply with: "Yes but Nintendo should never make events like that". My reasoning is this: if you didn't have as much interest at one point when you were young and didn't even know about the events in the first place let alone do them then you should not be unable to get certain pokemon. Because of these reasons I will still catch them all even if supposedly they aren't all legit... Trust me though if I could back in time and go to the events that I missed I would but sadly that is not possible so I will have to find alternate ways to get them (hint hint...) luckily that is only about... 10 pokemon maybe that I missed just due to missing events where pokemon were given out. Another thing to note though is I do want to complete the pokedex in every pokemon game (except gen 2)(maybe I'll finish gen 1 pokedex someday) but with "exclusive events" I can't without using some sort of device that allows me to get them so I say it's not my fault in this blame whoever came up with the idea...

Anyway I plan on catching every pokemon including the ones in x and y and I plan on not missing out on any more events (plus it's wi-fi events now not ones like go to gamestop to get them programmed in (3rd gen games) I may check though before using a device to see if a gamestop can just make the events be able to happen. That would be really cool but I doubt that would ever happen unfortunately, still worth checking though. Some other games I enjoy playing are the Legend of Zelda series, mario party series, Professor Layton series, Pokemon Ranger series, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, and the Kirby Series (especially the jap anime Hoshi no Kaabii) I personally think Hoshi no Kaabii is way better than Kirby Right Back at Ya(KRBAY) because KRBAY is targeted towards kids with the main company of 4kids behind that... (I could go on with how much I don't like 4kids but due to a possible limit of space I won't) and Hoshi no Kaabii is targeted towards teens (I could list examples of ways but once again limit of space). Hi 9bladesofice :) I know how you feel about the event things, I missed a lot of them when I was younger too, I eventually got quite a few of them in later games like Mew and Celebi when Nintendo had more events for them, and there probably will be more in the future :) I know Bulbanews will have news articles when events are announced so you can check that if you want. Hopefully this doesn't make it sound like I'm complaining but I actually don't think there was any way to legitimately get a celebi from any events that happened in the usa. If I didn't use a device for a pokemon like that no matter what I'd be one short and not be able to catch them all only (maxnumber-1)/maxnumber) so I still don't really like the events as much, I've also noticed that they seem to favor Japan a lot (giving way more events there). I don't have a huge problem with that but when you start giving out exclusive pikachus with surf and fly for going to a pokemon center in Japan (idk if it costs money though) then I think that's kinda lame because again I would go to the pokemon center if it was here in the usa. I also don't have a ton of money though so it's not like I can fly to Japan whenever I wanted (that would be pretty cool though). I was actually wondering though: is there a blog or article about where to catch hard to catch pokemon like Jirachi, mew, feebas, and also what all the games I'd need to catch them all are(I'm planning on using pokemon xd for some pokemon and I already have all the pokemon from pokemon collosseum(including ho-oh!)) I have transfered all the pokemon to gen 3 games in the hopes of maxing out a pokedex then trading up to the next game. So far all the games I have are: ruby, emerald, leafgreen, pearl(lost but I did buy one), platinum(lost but I did buy one), heartgold, white, and white 2. Hoping you know some forums that would help me with this. -9bladesofice-
 
Well if you have wi-fi, I might suggest going to Bulbagarden Global Trade Station. There are people there that might trade event Pokemon and other Pokemon with others, so you can check that out if you want :) I'm afraid Mew, and Celebi are event exclusives and can't be caught in game unfortunately.
 
Yeah. But do you despise hacks? If not, I suggest you pick up two shiny lil' cuties.

ALSO- You don't need Jirachi, Deoxys, Mew, Celebi, or any other event-specific legendaries to complete your dex.
 
Thanks for the encouragement I know it will be difficult to get all 649 pokemon (not counting any x and y pokemon) but so far I have caught every pokemon I can get (I think) except one trade I still have to do (trading a mr mime for a sudowodo) and actually now that I think about it does curtis give different pokemon then yancy did? If so then I need to trade some pokemon yancy trades for pokemon that curtis trades. Anyone can help me out with that: that chose to use the female character instead of the male character. I have registered all the friend codes I have (this would be for black 2 password) on my profile page so that people can use them just send me a message with your code and I'll update my infomation and add you to be able to trade those pokemon.
