Alright, so I say we play Yu-Gi-Oh to decide who gets Noel, considering this RP is presently a bit of a sausagefest. Not that I mind a sausagefest. I love kielbasa, it's great. Especially when you cook it with a bit of curry, gives it a smoky flavor that goes awesome with it's sweetness, know?

I don't think all of us can play Yu-Gi-Oh to the level that you can. I certainly can't. Not that I have a stake in it, anyhow. My character behaves more like an overprotective older brother.

Either or. Sai is okay at Yu-Gi-Oh, but his deck's pretty old. He doesn't know how to play magic.

I was actually hoping for one girl character to sign up, but to late now.

I just hope things don't go haywire with the Reverse-Harem.

I guess Alice and Noel will have to be fairly involved to keep the RP from being dominated by boys.

What's wrong with a harem? My dude in a dragon ball Z RP is with a Namekian, a demon girl, and a male android, and it works fine. Sharing is caring.

I just had a thought about the characters' families. Would they be able to be used as supporting characters? For example, Basch's younger sister and father giving him new equipment at some points. It could also be seen as a way of showing off his docile without without involving Noel.

Sure, I guess this will work.

Sorry about my inactivity lightly, things have been pretty busy on my end of things.

Lately*

Okay, and i also had another fun thought. How about we give our characters Job classes based on their powers. For example, Basch would be a Holy Knight, what with his Holy Sword. Judging by the weapon that Alex got, he could be under the same class.

I think Alex is more of a Red Mage (Jack of All Trades). And yeah, I like that idea, but based on some of the characer's abilities, I don't think there going to be extremely diverse classes.

But what mage wields a sword? How about Divine Knight or Paladin? Divine Knights are more balanced, and Paladins are slightly defensive-oriented, which would make a nice complement to the Holy Knight's offensive focus.

That's what a Red Mage is. Someone who can attack close range in a melee fight, but can also provide support from the back through various spells and projectiles. Their key weakness however is not excelling at any particular trait.

Oh, okay. I wasn't familiar with that. I'm not sure what the others' job classes would be. I see Noel as a Cleric of sorts, though.

You mean like a White Mage/Healer sorta thing?

Right, but a Cleric is a more advanced version of the White Mage. For example, being able to cast a spell that does the work of several of the White Mage's spells at once, or a debuffer spell.

So basically someone who heals and buffs the allies, while sabotaging and handicapping the foes.

You got it. The others would have to describe their characters' abilities so I could come up with the job classes.
