I'm not a particularly new pokemon fan- I don't consider myself an extreme one either. I like to think I'm more of an "off and on" pokemon fan, occasionally loving it and spending hours playing a game, and occasionally finding myself unable to do so. I tend to buy the games, but then start playing them (and beat them) months after.

Recently, I picked up my "Pokemon Y" game and began playing it, as of now I've been greatly enjoying it. I've mostly popped on here for team advice/ to look further into the (frankly overwhelming- last time I checked) metagame. And because the strategic games on the forum look interesting.

I used to watch the anime- but I don't really, now. I never play the fifth gen (I was intrigued but not motivated), but I've played the first, third, and fourth (by this I mean; red, emerald, diamond and platinum). Currently, I'm going through X (although that's on hold because I've started to dislike my team and training) and Y.

Oh yes, and "Fire is Cool" is a pun on two of my favourite types, Fire and Ice. Just thought I'd mention that.

So um... yeah... hi. *weak wave in greeting and shyly shrinks away*

Im kinda like that myself, it can sometimes take me ages to finish a game because I get distracted, I have an Emerald playthrough I should probably finish but Im putting it off because I dont want to level grind >_>

I hope you have a great time here on the forums.
 
I like your subject. Simple, catchy, and make me want to click it right after I see it out of curiosity. And be amazed find myself in an introduction page and not F&G.

Btw. Welcome, I also new joint and already made myself home here *half cause I born with less shame nerves than most people and half cause this place is already awesome*

Emerald was definitely difficult for me, too. I'm not sure if it was my age or something, but it took me awhile. I kept messing up on the gym leaders a lot, and I refused to get a water/ ground type as I felt it would be cheating.
