Hello everyone!! I'm Brenda, but I prefer going by Bryn, it is lovely to meet all of you!
I am 40, but completely new to playing Pokemon. I watched some of the series when it first aired back in 1998, until my work schedule got in the way. So Pikachu has a warm place in my heart. I never truly played until September though.
My best friend got me a DSi, and soon I had Pokemon Pearl in my hands!!! I am a very, very slow gamer, so I am still playing. I probably will be for at least four more months LOL. I can't look at the screen too long right now, vision issues, but once that is cleared up I will be able to play a bit faster. Nah...I'm just slow.
My very first starter Pokemon was Turtwig. I love everything about him! I have started collecting him as well. I have a fair bit of Turtwig and Pikachu things, as well as Buneary, Hoot Hoot and hopefully some Bulbasaur soon!
I thought I would join the forum in hopes of finding folks to talk about Pokemon with. My wonderful girlfriend listens even though she has NO idea what I am saying.
My best friend is a huge Pokemon fan, she's played since I want to say Gen I...I'd have to ask her. Anyway she is a good go to for questions. She is playing X now. I'm saving up for a 3DS so I can play Y. Let's face it, I have a while, I have a ton of catching up to do!
