I registered because the community as a whole are very friendly from my sights of lurking around...so here I am :)

I've been on two large community forums before, so I predict I should ease into this forum quickly. I'll go find the rules thread now and read it, but are there any 'unwritten rules' that aren't in the rules because...well because they're unwritten? Y'know, stuff that would annoy the community that I shouldn't do, etc.

Welcome! Lurking is the best. If you've already been on two large forums, I'd wager you probably know enough forum etiquette to get by here. Heh, you probably have more forum etiquette than me. Though I feel bad for the bunnies you eat.
