OK, I was watching TV, and they're making an Inspector Gadget movie that's all CG. I exclaimed "They're bastardizing Inspector Gadget!"

Seriously, they've take such a good show and keep making crappy spin-offs.

My favorite was Penny; she rocked my socks. I loved how she crept around and solved things before Inspector Gadget ever could. I also liked CLAW and the evil cat! (OMG, Giovanni's predecessor. No one can deny it. ^_^)
 
Oh, that's not as bad as what I saw whilst flipping around during Pokemon's commercial breaks on Saturday...
A GI Joe remake. Only anime.
And if I'm not mistaken, that's Ted Lewis' voice as Cobra.

But have you seen what they did with Treasure Trolls? Or Littlest Pet Shop? (Goes off to make thread about this) 0_o

And yeah, come to think of it, Giovanni does borrow very heavily from Claw.. but Claw never came out of shadow.
(Grew up with Inspector Gadget, and got pissed when she saw the CG movie at Meijer)

I know, my inner child cries when I see how they screwed with the Treasure Trolls.

I'm glad that we can see Giovanni. It makes Meowth's dreams better. XD

I don't know for sure.. it sounds like him.
He has a thing for doing evil genius voices, I guess. Try checking 4Kids' web site.
 
He does. ^_^ As long as he doesn't just pick up Giovanni's and moves it.

Knew it! Meh, I don't think he'll ever do that.. (prays like mad)... Gio kinda calls for a psuedo-European/vaguely Italian accent. Cobra's more like an evil American capitalist type. Still, good to see him finding work.
 
T_T this is the worse than when they made live action movies. *also grew up on the good stuff like TMNT, Inspector gadget, my little ponies, care bears....*
 
I didn't like the mini-inspector gadget, he was rubbish in comparison to the adult one.

Also the new TMNT episodes are also awful as well, with Veronica Taylor doing April O'Neill (did anyone know that?). Meh, they just don't make them the way they used too.

I think I'm beginning to sound old....
