I don't know if this article is true or not but I've been hearing alot about it at forums and other websites I go to. Basically according to the article 67% of Wii haven't played their Wii in a long time. I'm trying to bash the Wii or anything I'm just curioius if anyone else has heard anything like this or has any other source besides the one I have.

News: 67% of Wii owners haven't used the console recently - ComputerAndVideoGames.com

I see no definition of recently. They could say a week is a "long time". And the fact most people have bought it for (oh my God) entertainment, with the fall season upon us with other activities to occupy their time they're not playing at the moment. Wait until the dead of the winter and Wii owners will be dusting off their Wiis to play again.

The new games coming later this year (Brawl, SM Galaxy, ect) the more regular gaming crowd should be picking up Wiis as well.

This article is useless unless we have the percentage of non-Wii owners having played their console recently.

There just aren't many good games out. I'm waiting for Galaxy, then Brawl.
I'm also toying with buying several GC games, namely LoZ: Windwaker and Super Mario Sunshine.

I've been using my Wii for online recently, simply because I can connect to it wirelessly whereas I still don't have and ethernet cable long enough to reach my 360.

The stretch between summer and winter is kind of a dead time for all console games to be released. Generally speaking Q1 and Q4 are when the biggest titles come out . . .
