First of all, thanks to PokéPress for informing and sharing the interview with us.
John revealed some more information on the upcoming fifteenth dub season and something else.

Poke Press Updates

According to the interview:
* Best Wishes will be a three-years series.
* Theme song of Pokémon season 15 will be called "Rival Destinies".

But...
Loeffler's exact quote in question was "it's a three year series that they projected that's going to be based on these two games, the Black and the White game in Pokemon."

A few things I want to point out:
1. We don't know for sure who "they" is in this context.
2. These are only projections, and we don't know the basis for these projections.
3. Most importantly, 'based on these two games' is not the same as 'based on the Best Wishes saga in Japan.'

Interesting. Three years for the dub would suggest a total possible epcount of 152 going 48:52:52 episodes for each series, but the Japanese version has been denoted in roughly 190 episode blocks for many years, so I wonder what 2013 or so will bring...

Hmm... True. So, does that mean he is only referring to the Unova League end?

I think the more interesting comments are that they are working on a music score for the anime, which lends support to the idea that TCPi were replacing music in the dub simply as part of a contractual thing with the company that does the vocal bits. It'll be a shame if they start replacing a lot more of the music in the dub, I'm okay for them swapping Japanese vocal songs, but other than that I think it sounds better as is and hope we don't start seeing a huge decline in the original music levels when they complete their work. Still it's interesting that the same people are behind the dub openings despite the 4kids to TCPi transition - so why was Battle Frontier such a terrible opening? I did like how the original ones used elements of the previous openings, Born to be a Winner is one of my favourites for that reason, though I don't have the same like for Black and White as a song.

Rival Destinies sounds like an interesting concept, though how much of that will we see reflected in the episodes, the rivalries are already fairly weak, and the episodes out of Japan so far that will fall into that season can only vaguely be categorised as being 'rival destinies', there's a bit of stuff with Alder and Trip - but that's not really a 'destiny'. Bianca seems to be getting slightly more competent and we might get another episode with Burgundy and Georgia, and Stephan's only destiny seems to be forever being part of a lame joke. Seems odd a series that has had fairly weak rivalries so far would emphasise it.

I hope that the OP will at least have some nod to the past rivalries, even just a pan past them like in the Master Quest OP.

I'm guessing the opening we either have all new dub only clips, seeing as the only new footage they can use is from the three BW endings, or it'll use clips from the next Japanese opening, which hasn't replaced the current one yet.

And if Best Wishes does end after three years (which I doubt), and the Generation VI games still don't have pre-Gen IV Pokemon in the main game, we might not being seeing the older Pokemon in the anime for a long, long time.

I doubt that John Loeffler would make a point of saying that the fourth year of the Best Wishes series won't actually be about Black and White, as I don't see the series changing that much as a result of remakes or any other Generation V games. Even if they moved from Unova, the Pokémon and characters that are linked to Black and White would most likely still be prominent, so the differences wouldn't really be notable.

I'm skeptical because I don't see why he needed to divulge that information, but if anything, this hints at Best Wishes lasting three years.

The three year thing wouldn't shock me. And he did say games. I still don't get why people haven't looked at how the BW era movies seem to be flowing. By the third one, unless something along the lines of the DP trilogy is pulled, who's going to co-star in it? (We know Meloetta will most likely be in it.) Same applies for Genesect's case. No intention to make much out of anything..but thought of pointing that out...

As to the music thing. Eh..I'm not hopeful for anything good at all. Just about all of TPCi's openings have been bland..

And we're going to find out who Ash's dad is in Season 5!! :p

I should clarify about the whole "new soundtrack" thing. John is referring to his work filling in the gaps in the score of the TV series, not necessarily a new album.

guess we will go back to 4/5 pieces kept from the dub bgm.. good anyways best wishes has a horrible soundtrack

Three years for this series sounds reasonable to me - I'm picturing two years for the actual League storyline and the other year for that other half of Unova, where Black City//White Forest is - possibly something similar to the Battle Frontier mini-series, but set in the same region maybe?

I'm always excited for new opening themes, but I'm a bit apprehensive this time around - since DP, while I've still liked them all, they've not been as good as they could have been, namely due to their length in my opinion - good songs need a good length, otherwise they sound squished and DP had that too much with me.

So when will Season 15 begin?

I'm not sure how much time there is between when the theme is recorded and the season starts. For the second movie, "Polkamon" was recorded two months before the movie came out, but I highly doubt the time difference will be that long.

3 years sounds about right.

In one year Ash got 4 gym badges, and its very likely this year he will complete the rest. After that theres only the league left and eastern Unova.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if around September 2013 saw the release of Generation 6 and the new anime series that goes with it.

Dogasu has a point.

The Dubbing people have said things about the show in the past that turned out to be completely untrue, so I would be very reluctant to take this interview as fact.
