Interview With Kirsten Price (the singer)

I listened to it yesterday, it's a very good interview. It's interesting that she was chosen by John Loeffler. I wonder if it was the same for the other singers that have done themes/movie songs.

I would suspect he gets some say whenever he writes a song.

Not a whole lot in the interview that's specifically Pokemon-related (most of it is her talking about her new album), but it was still interesting nonetheless.

That's generally the deal when you interview musicians (and I'm happy to oblige). Besides, how could I leave out a tertiary connection between Pokemon and INXS?

She definitely has some talent. It's always interesting to see what the story is behind musicians.

If you were reading the annotations for the video, you may recall that the weather was quite bad that day. I've learned that Kirsten's concert that evening was completely rained out.

It's cool that you got to interview her, Yoshi1001. I definitely love what she did with the latest theme song. If it was only about 15 seconds longer it would have been even better in my opinion.

Part of me wanted to ask if there was an extended version, but time was kinda tight. If it does become commerically available, I suspect it'll be like the Pokemon X version of "Battle Frontier", which is a vocal/instrumental hybrid.
