Into The Flame​

Plot

What if pokemon wasn't just a game?
What if it wasn't just....a choice?
What if pokemon was only a fight...of survival?

You step into the cold, bitter room. You can smell sweat coming off the lab coats on the floor, and you can tell somethings wrong. You can't see a thing in the dark mess, and you can tell that nobody was here...right? You coninue down the corridor, despite the strong sense telling you to turn back. You couldn't turn back now, you could tell, as you hear the door close.
You kept on going for what seemed like a mile, until you found a circular room. You step in, and see the whole room is empty. Nothing. No drawers, no tables, no nothing. And most of all, no people. What was wrong with this place?
Then, something caught your eye. You turn to face right in front of you, and there you see it: a glowing dark cube on the floor. You tilt your head in wonder, of why and how the object got there. You slowly step towards it, and you grabbed it gently, placing it in your numb arms. Suddenly, before you knew what was happening, it happened. Your eyes start to glow, and suddenly the cube disapeared. You feel energized, you feel like you have all the power in the world. You smile, and looked down where the cube used to be. Instead, you see 3 pokeballs. You wonder where they came from, and you realized they were not ordinary pokeballs, they were...purple. Dark purple pokeballs, letting off a radiant mist. You slowly reach down, and picked it up in your clumsy fingers.
The pokeballs immediately let out one pokemon from each, and you gasp when you see what pokemon the balls had held. 3 legendary pokemon stood in front of you, as if waiting for you to tell it what to do. You wonder what to do, and slowly open your mouth. "Who are you?" You talk to the pokemon, as they give you a cry back, almost as if to warn you of something that was to happen, but it was to late. It had already happened. The fight of survival...Had already begun.

This happened to many everyday pokemon trainers. They have been bestowed the power of the legendary, to fight off bad...but the war rages. The palkia side [Team Rocket, Galactic, Aqua, and Magma] are fighting against the Diagla side [The good guys]. The Palkia side has obtained their own special power and legendary pokemon, too. How will the war end? Will the kids somehow find out a way to stop the Palkia side? Or is it all lost? Only you can end the fight...

Team Diagla [The Good]​

Character Name: Lilly

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Personality: Lilly is very nice, and protective. She can be majorly shy at times, but in the end she just loves pokemon. She can be a worry wart at times, and others she is a little careless. She doesn't know who she is, exactly. She doesn't know why her name is Lilly. She doesn't know anything about her it seems, but she can cooperate with it pretty well; her friends are always there for her. She hopes to become a famous pokemon battler wrhen she grows up. When the battle begun,, she swore to protect and stand by all of her friends. She would not let Team Palkia defeat her!

Bio: Lilly was born into a middle class family, but she got her protectiveness form her mother. She was always watching everywhere Lilly went as a baby, making sure she didn't get hurt in any way. She was given the name 'Lilly' from her aunt Lilly, who became a pokemon champiion right before she died. Lilly hopes to one day become a pokemon champ, too, and so she loves the name Lilly. She ran away when she was 4 because she was mad at her mom, but returned home a week later, hungry and thirsty. This made her mom watch Lilly even closer, and even locking her in her room at night. Lilly hated all this, she wanted to be free, so she decided it was time. She packed all of her stuff in a knapsack, and picked the lock on the door. She ran down the hall, and made it out. She hasn't returned home since she ran away when she was 8. She sometimes thinks about going back, she missese her family so much. Another dream of hers is to go back to her parents, impress them with the fact she helped defeat the up raging war going on.

Character Name: Midori Fujioka

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Appearance: Link

Personality: Midori is a conniving woman, ready to betray anyone at the drop of a hat if she feels there is some kind of personal gain for her. She also loves attention, in fact she craves it. As well as being the centre of attention, Midori enjoys using her power to boss her underlings around, making them do whatever she wants from leading attacks on Team Dialga to giving her massages. All in all, not a very nice person.

Bio: Midori was born in Orre, but raised in Goldenrod City, Johto. She was initially the guitarist in a rock band, and still plays to this day. She later became a Pokémon trainer when they figured that the band wasn't getting anywhere. About a year into her journey, she was approached by a Team Rocket agent, and she joined, mainly for the money. Over time and via many successful operations, she became one of the boss's most trusted agents, and holds the rank of Team Palkia Admin. To this end, she has been allocated Palkia, along with her own captures: Deoxys and Manaphy.

Character Name: Heidi Osbourne

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Appearance: Heidi

Personality: Heidi tends to be overly dramatic and isn’t too bright. She can never tell when someone is being sarcastic or are being absolutely serious. Heidi is usually complaining of being hungry, as she has a large appetite. She enjoys collecting Poke Dolls and is usually seen carrying one around with her. Heidi has a wide variety of interests, such as knitting, designing clothes, swimming, reading, etc. She also loves to be evil and mess with other people’s heads.

Bio: Heidi was born August 2nd in an outrageously rich family. Her father inherited his father’s grand estate as well as around $200 billion dollars. Heidi’s grandfather was very successful in the oil business. She calls Lilycove City her home, as she was birthed there and raised there ever since she was young. She left the city and moved to Lavaridge Town, which is located near the Team Magma base, where she works as an executive member. She doesn’t wear the typical Team Magma uniform as she detests it and wears a bright red dress as an alternative.

Heidi had heard rumors of Team Magma’s plan to expand land, and was immediately intrigued at how they’d come about completing such a feat. Being the curious young lady that she is, she decided to join the elusive team in hopes of learning more information on the endeavor. Her father still to this day does not know of Heidi’s membership into the team, as her and her father have not spoken much since she left Lilycove City. Heidi’s mother, Blanche Osbourne, is also secretly apart of an organization; Team Aqua, and is also one of the head executives. Heidi is the only one to know of Blanche’s involvement with Team Aqua, albeit after a conflict between the two teams.

Heidi and her mother have never really gotten along, despite the two being similar, personality-wise. Their joining of opposing teams only complicated things further between them.

Name: Travis Daniel Chorcino

Age : 17

Gender: Male

Appearance:
(Physical) He's 5'07", weight 119 lbs., hazel eyes, jet black hair, slightly tanned, slash scar across his right cheek from lower jaw to eye socket.

(Clothing and articles) He wears black jeans, red shirt with silver underside stripes, silver shoes, wears glasses. Has a emerald green bandanna for sandstorms; usually tied to left arm, sapphire blue goggles for eye protection; usually seen hanging around his neck. Has a pure white cloak for icy conditions. Carries around a ruby red backpack. As of late, he carries a navy blue katana studded with diamonds, a pink tinged rapier with a pearl hanging off in a chain, and a pure metallic grey claymore with a base that is made from a mix of titanium and platium for additional protection.

Personality: the hero. He's kind, compassionate. He put the safety of others above his own, even if he's near death. He can be care-free sometimes and serious at other times, which can border as grim. He is a hard worker. He has a strong sense of justice. He loves protecting the weak. A natural leader. Can be a bit of a lone wolf.

Bio: Travis Daniel Chorcino was born on April 20 in the town of Twinleaf. He has 2 younger siblings, Olivia Monenoke (16) and Brenden Davidson (14). He rose to fame by becoming the youngest Trainer to win the Sinnoh League Championship at age 10. People called him "the Prodigy Trainer" because he handles his Pokémon like a League Champion. Ironically, in his years, he never faced a Elite 4 member or the Champion of any branch. Also, he defeated Team Galatic from "reshaping" the world.

After a two year break, he traveled to Hoenn for a year, not only winning the Hoenn Championship, but also stopping a then-warring Teams Aqua and Magma from messing with the balance of sunlight and rainfall. After a two year rest back in Sinnoh, he challenged the Kanto circuit. After a year, he won the Indigo Plateau Championship and stopped Team Rocket's plots. He returned to Sinnoh to recharge before planning to go to Johto.

A year into his normal 2-year resting period (present day), the Palkia-Diaga Wars started to brew. When he learned that the Heads are on the Palkia side, he decided to join the Dialga side to help them out. During a dare from Brenden over the video-phone (he is in Orre at the moment), Travis found Cresselia, Celebi, and Giratina in an abandoned lab in Master Balls. That is when he joined the Dialgians to defeat the Palkians.

His goal in life is not only to deafeat evil, but to become The Quad-Regional League Champion, a Pokémon Master, and own one of each fully evolved Pokémon.

Other: Travis has two tattooes. One is on his right hand. It is a clock face with its hands on noon/midnight. That would his most recent one. His other, more older one, covers his back. It is a black flame with a blue outline and a white skull without a lower jaw in the middle of the flame.
He also doesn't want people to say his name in public, because it attracts unwanted attention.

Personality: Very shy, and doesn't like to take durastic actions unless tempted by strong feelings such as hate and love. Her character is much of a tomboy, who likes soccer and icecream cones dipped in lots of sprinkles. She has a very strong sweet tooth. *wink* At the moment her confusion of everything that is happening to her is channeling a bit of irratance and deppression. Celeb's birthday sign is a Tauors.

Bio: Born May 19, within Fortree City. She is the middle child of two boys, and her mother passed away when she was little. Her father owns an Aviery in which her older brother is training to become it's next owner. Her little step brother however is only seven, dreaming to become the next champion. Celeb's real pokemon, Primeape and Gengar, are living in her home within Slateport City, where she also has a job as an artist.

Celeb and her pokemon were exploring a nearbye cave off the coast of Slateport City where she became seperated due to a landslide within one of the dark tunnels. Seeing light form the other side of the unblocked tunnel, se told her pokemon to retrace their steps and meet her outside. When she stepped into the light she noticed she was in some sort of manmade room; then the lights cut out on her. This is when se stumbled upon the three legendaries and this story so after.

Character Name: Arthur Shattuck

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Despite his young age, Arthur has grey hair, though it is streaked with yellow, and his red-irised eyes are another oddity of his appearance. He dresses in a platinum/light silver outfit, with golden lines on the arms of his open jacket, revealing a plain white shirt underneath. He also wears black, steel-lined gloves and a dirty brown cloak that is tattered at the edges, and seems to randomly drop sand on the ground.

Personality: Arthur is a fairly quiet person who always tries to fight the good fight where ever he goes. This quietness is further emphasized by the fact that he can barely speak above a whisper, though he does not wish to speak of why.

Bio: Arthur was born in Lavaridge, Hoenn and he was always a very curious child. One day, he met a girl whom he instantly fell in love with. Unfortunately, not long after they had started dating (and just before they were to embark on their training journey together) Team Magma, as they still were at the time, attacked her house, looking for something her parents supposedly had. And in the attack she was killed.

In his rage and sorrow, Arthur attacked the Magmas, screaming all the while. His original starter, Torchic, was also killed, though it destroyed several Rockets before it went. When Arthur's voice finally gave out, he ran away into the nearby desert, where he had been living until today.

Other: He prefers to be known by his last name of Shattuck, and he constantly wears goggles around his neck, only putting them on rarely. He is no longer angst-ridden, but he is very determined against evil.

Personality: Calm, quiet, slightly cynical. He usually doesn't speak, but when he does, it's most likely to be inadvertently awkward and/or humorous.

Bio: Jack grew up in Goldenrod City. His mother, Jessica, worked at the Radio Tower, and his father, Mike, owned the Goldenrod Game Corner. As a young boy, he wanted to be a detective when he grew up, but was never any good at detecting anything. After that enterprise failed, he decided to go into business with his dad. There was a horribly embarrassing accident that took place, bad enough for his father to kick him out, which Jack doesn't like to talk about. After this, he learned that he was actually fairly good at Pokémon battling, and took it up, traveling all over Johto, Kanto and Hoenn. He still has aspirations of being a detective, though, and his skills have gotten better. He doesn't talk to his dad anymore because of 'the incident', but he still keeps in touch with his mother. Team Palkia pays well, even when he's not battling, and he thinks the views of people who oppose them are childish.

Character Name: Ryuki Akiyama
Age: 15 because of his mature nature, many think he is a lot older
Gender: Male
Appearance: Dukemon from Digimon except his eyes are green.

Personality: Ryuki is loyal to his team, but will disobey orders if it goes against his morals. He does not have an interest in harming people or Pokemon unnecessarily. Though he tends to question to himself a lot on why he must fight against the Palkia side if both sides are utilizing the same power.

Bio: Ryuki had lived with his mother and it is unknown about his father. Ryuki grew up with no friends except for the pokemon that lived in the forest that he often stayed in. Soon, his mother got sick when he was 10 and decided to stay with her in hopes that she would feel better instead of go on his journey as a trainer. His mother died at the age of 12 from an illnessand the maturity that he developed through his mother made him able to cope with his mother’s death a lot better than he probably would’ve. Undoubtfully, he misses her and often carries a violin named “Tenshi’s Wing (Angel’s wing in a translation)” in her memory. He solely uses it to sooth Pokemon and humans alike when necessary. Though he is known to play it too when he feels troubled.

It was one day that he wished to have companions of his own and ended up having a dream with the 3 master balls/purple balls that contained his current pokemon. After encountering and hearing about the Dialga war, at first he decided to remain neutral to the factions. Though in seeing the devastating effects of the war, he joins the Dialga side in hopes of bringing peace.

Well, I'm not one of those RPGers. I do it because it looks like fun. But what about the formerly hot RPGs that brightly burned in the RPG sky like The Hybrid Virus? (looks at Megidrazard. Just to let you know, not even the GM isn't safe from my reminders)

Quick question - does anyone knows when The Bulbagarden Library will reopen? Then again, when it closed, I was introduce to the Forums, so I call it a bittersweet experience.

To keep this from being a post only about my RP, I'll have to mention that Shattuck, though he may be a Dialga member, wanders so much he hardly counts as being one of the team. He's like Kenshin before the Rurouni Kenshin series.
