Long time Pokemon Fan, but I got kind of burnt out for a long while, but the news of Gen 5 has got me back in hook, line, and sinker. The series itself didn't put me off, but rather I was in a funk. I still enjoy the Anime, although I haven't watched it in awhile due to being busy and spending time with other shows I wanted to catch up on (King of the Hill, LOST, Arrested Development, Venture Brothers) but I'll probably start watching again once the Tournaments hit in. On the game side, I play the games to a decent amount, but have only EV trained a few Pokemon. I actually find EV training WAY less tedious than Level Grinding, especially in Platinum.
Anyway, I'm a 2nd year College Student, English Major and Sociology Minor, and I enjoy anime...somewhat (I haven't watched any lately, but I never watched a lot to begin with, only really shows I still enjoy from my childhood), some manga, and also lately I've taken an interest in Arcade Fighters, although I suck at them. I'm even doing a Sociology report on them this semester.
Besides that, uh, I have to say the only parts of the Pokemon series I'm not too keen on is the TCG, although I'd buy a new TCG video game in a second, and the mangas. They just don't interest me much that I'd want to buy them more.
