I read the manga and its funny XD and i just sytarted watching the Anime last night. Inuyasha's voice is so cute <3 and the Show is realy funny XD Anyone else like it?
 
I've been followign the anime for a while now, but it has the major problem of being bloody well too long. There are some great episodes (any Kikyo-centric episode for a start), but some so terribly pointless filler ("Sota's Brave Declaration"?)...

I'd probably have dropped IY, except it happens to air between Gundam Seed and .Hack//Sign (previously between Gundam Seed and Witch Hunter Robin), all of which are well worth watching.
 
well here it comes on at 9:30 and after comes FullMetal Alchemist, So it helps me remember to watch it
 
I watch it, but Inuyasha has been really uber lately.

But the fillers... The fillers seem to really wreck Kagome. I always thought she was kind of annoying to begin with, but during fillers Kagome really seems... yeah. =/
 
I agree, it's way too long. Over the past few months, I really didn't care if I missed an episode or not. However, the Shichi-nin-tai arc just started, so I'm so happy to see Jakotsu. =^^;=

The beginning was really good, I think it had a good, well-writted plot and everything. But now, all the filler things are just too much.

I think the fillers in the modern world are quite amusing, though.
 
I watched the series all the way through, shame it ended. I didn't mind the filler at all; it was all plenty entertaining enough, and I would have found it hard to believe that they spent all that time chasing Naraku and never ran into anyone else.

god I hate the dub though... inuyasha's voice is awful.
 
i watch it and am glad that the shintai(cant spell for crap) saga started <3 Jakotsu and Renkotsu!!!!!!!
 
The Shichinin-tai make it worthwhile to watch the series. >D Well, I like Inuyasha and Kagome too (not to mention Kagura, Musou, Rin, and Jaken), but seriously...Shichinin-tai > All. They need to have their own spin-off or something.

I am going to write an orgyfic about all seven of them one day. :O

Aw, come on! InuYasha's fillers are much better than any Pokémon filler. =P And I liked Sota's confesion episode. It was adorable and at the end you see some cute hints on Kagome/InuYasha.

Anyway, seems Rumiko Takahashi loves to make her series/mangas really really looooong... See Ranma 1/2 for example: it lasted 9 seasons and the anime ended before the manga did.

As for the Shishinin-tai....
Is it true they made Jakotsu a woman in the US dub? x__X;;

I believe that has happened with Inuyasha as well o.o

I've seen the first 70 or so episodes plus some newer dubbed ones but missed a lot.

Hah, that's one of the few episodes I saw while in the states last month. Jakotsu is still a guy cause they referred to him as a he.
 
Yeah, when I saw Jakotsu I made sure to pay attention to whether he was a guy or not.
 
I don't like the voice they picked for Jakotsu in the dub. :/ It's not because it 'sounds feminine' (I don't mind that - his original voice was too), but because...it just sounds SO NOT LIKE JAKOTSU. X_x It's cold and semi-emotionless. At least to my ears. :D;;
 
Lol. xDD;; Anyways, I <3 the InuYasha anime/manga. ^____^ My favorite characters are Miroku, Sango and Rin. =] I started watching the show last year. I don't remember what excact day. xP IMO, I think all shippings are cute. But there are some that I don't support that much.
 
Can someone explain the red Tetsusaiga to me? I remember Inuyasha learning a technique stronger than the wind scar (I think) then missed a lot and suddenly it's all red and stuff.
