Inuyasha's Second Coming... Well, Just A Continuation of the First Really =/

How do you feel about this?

  • Relieved. The ending to the anime 5 years ago was rather blunt.

Remember how at the end of the Inuyasha anime (episode... 168, I think?), Kagome narrates that they will one day defeat Naraku?

Well, the next Inuyasha anime is going to be virtually just a continuation of that series.

Any comments?

GIVE US YOUR MONIES. NOWZ.

Ah so it wasn't finished after all
lol and i still didn't see the final 4 episodes XD

What's crazy is a friend of mine and I- neither of which watch much Inuyasha but was aware that the anime didn't fully adapt the manga- were discussing whether or not it would continue some day. For the record, we were talking about how Adult Swim needed more new anime...

But anyway, never watched much, don't particularly care. Glad for the fans' sake, though.

I voted relieved, but I think it was pretty obvious they were just waiting for the manga to end before finishing the anime up. I'll probably check it out.

I knew this would happen. Inuyasha is extremely popular, and the anime finished well before the end of the Manga story did, so it was really only a matter of how long would they wait before making the sequel/continuation.

Personally, I don't care much, but I'm happy they are completing a promise, and I'm happy because I'm sure tons of American Inuyasha Fans will flood Adult Swim again if they start airing new ones (considering the old ones still get views o_0; )

Well, I expected that. Now that the manga is finally over (none of us believed that would happen!!!), they can finish the anime properly. But meh, I never liked the Inuyasha anime much.

I'm neutral towards this, I've never read the manga but have seen the series. It was okay at best for me, so it may be worth a watch if the new series come over here anytime soon.

yay i missed Inuyasha but i never even saw the finale. Did they ever collect all the shikon jewel shards anyway or did naraku just eat them all?
