Liko has been announced as the star of Pokemon Winds & Waves anime following popular demand. She will receive Captain Pikachu from Friede and Lucario from Roy and will complete in gyms and be more competitive, as well as be revealed to be Ash's descendant on her father's side, so a reunion between the two has been teased. She will also be in a long-distance relationship with Dot, continuing with what was seen in the June 28th episode "Pokemon Pride parade! Dot's confession!". This new series is set to please the fans as much as possible giving all of them what they want.
