Why is it every time I try using Bulbagarden Chat on Firefox, it crashes it? If it matters, I'm using Vista, but it really annoys me when I have to open The Evil Browser (IE) to chat.

Is IRC chat just incompatible with Mozilla?

I use Mozilla for IRC..I have XP on one computer and I have Mac OSX Tiger on my laptop. I wasn't aware that there was a Mozilla for Vista yet? That might be your problem..Vista is horrible.

No, Mozilla works just fine for everything BUT chat. So maybe the IRC hates Vista Mozilla and therefore refuses to work on it.

Damn Vista.

And to think I've not had any of the other problems people have allegedly been having with Vista.

Out of curiosity, do other Java apps work through firefox?

I'm using XP, but my firefox doesn't seem to have a working JRE so no Java apps run here, but another desktop at home does have the working JRE (also runs XP). Re-downloading Java doesn't seem to work. I think the way to fix it is to manually import the appropriate library, but I haven't had the time to look for it.

I'm not sure about Vista, sorry! Back when I used the Java chat w/ Firefox it worked ok; I use mIRC now. BTW, your icon is awesome XD
