IRC Chat isn't working

Yeah, as I type this, I'm at the library. Yeah, I know. I'm such a n00b. Anyways, I was gonna get on the Java to lurk Bulba and talk for awhile, but it seems like I can't get on the server or channel to chat. Any reason why it's not working?

The IRC Channel is working just fine. You may not be able to access the network there?

The library may have blocked IRC networks.

Use Mibbit. My school's firewall blocks IRC but somehow Mibbit gets through.

But I've done it before and its worked. I don't see why today would be any different. I mean, I don't care if I can't get on. I'm leaving the area around 3:30pm EST anyway. I'd just like to visit the chan, haha.

Unable to connect : java.netConnectException : Connection refused: connect <- That's what the error I recieve is. Dunno why I'm getting it either.

Weird. They may have updated their filter.

They probably blocked IRC recently. That's the message I got at work when I tried to connect to IRC once.
